Great day trip - We recently took a family day trip to Phi Phi Islands, and despite some afternoon rain, it was a fantastic experience that we’d highly recommend! Opting for the catamaran over a speedboat was a smart move, especially with the weather turning bad in the afternoon. The catamaran’s stability made the 1hr ride smooth, and we barely noticed the choppy seas—a huge plus for anyone prone to seasickness. If you’re unsure about motion sickness, I’d strongly suggest taking seasickness pills before boarding, just to be safe. Preparation Tips: Invest in a waterproof bag for your clothes and belongings—snorkeling means everything gets wet, even with the catamaran’s protection. A waterproof phone case was a game-changer for us, letting us snap great underwater photos without worry. Crew & Organization: The crew was excellent, professional, and kept everything running smoothly. The terminal can feel chaotic at first, but the staff’s clear directions (and handy wristbands) made it easy to know who was on our boat and who to follow on land. The wristbands were a brilliant touch for keeping groups organized. Food & Drinks: Lunch was sufficient, offering a halal meal that satisfied everyone, including our picky 12- and 15-year-olds. The kids loved that water and sodas were freely available on board all day. We brought snacks for the kids, but you can also buy food at various stops (cash and credit cards accepted). There are ATMs available at the lunch stop if you need cash. Highlights: We were lucky with high tide, allowing a quick stop at Monkey Beach for photos—definitely a highlight, though the stop is brief. We’d pre-booked a small dragon boat for the lagoon, but with the high tide, it wasn’t necessary. If you’re visiting during low tide, I’d recommend booking the dragon boat (available at the terminal) for a better lagoon experience. Disappointment: The only letdown was missing Maya Bay which is closed annually in August and September for environmental recovery. We’d hoped to at least snap photos at the entrance, but the rough afternoon weather prevented it. This wasn’t the tour company’s fault, just bad timing on our behalf. Overall: Despite the weather and missing Maya Bay, the trip was a hit for our family. The catamaran’s comfort, great crew, and thoughtful organization made it memorable. We’d highly recommend this Phi Phi Island day trip to families or anyone looking for a fun, well-run adventure. Just come prepared with seasickness pills, waterproof gear, and realistic expectations about weather and closures!

Unforgettable day - Fantastic day, was really hot day but so nice cooling off in beautiful beaches. Buffet lunch was delicious. Guide Suzy was fantastic, very informative and funny lady. We were kept refreshed whole day with cold water and cola, also lovely fruit and sweet treats. Such a shame we couldn't swim at Maya Bay but totally understand they have to protect such a beautiful bay. Took so many photos, such beautiful scenery. Hats off to excellent captain, so many boats out there. Highly recommend

Great day out to some amazing picturesque places - Was a good tour and well managed. The stop for lunch was nice and got to see some amazing sights and get some really good photos. Staff onboard the boat were fantastic and made the day even better. Only thing that I’ve marked it down for is the 2/2.5 hour van trip each way that isn’t very clear when you book.

Well organized large group tour. - The tour itself is well organized, considering that it is a large group tour. The guides always worried about helping. The food is very simple. To enter the lagoon you have to pay separately.

Not for the introverts but great people - So this tour wasn’t for me, however I wouldn’t tell anybody not to do it, for me it was just a bit chaotic and busy, I think if I were to do it again I’d book privately or a much smaller group, as a introvert it just felt very over stimulating from the get go. The staff were all amazing, super friendly, made everyone laugh so I can fault them at all, just wasn’t my cup of tea.

Bit chaotic to start - Had an ok day doing this tour. I just found the check in procedure when you got to the dock to be a bit chaotic and think it could be managed a bit calmer and smoother. Staff onboard the boat were great and were extremely friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The tour itself was good, although it is a long day. The stop for lunch the food was good and enjoyable.

Crew were great nice boat very friendly. - It is very organised and a nice boat trip. Unfortunately they're were no Piers to disembark onto at any of the stops which meant I was unable to get off the boat due to my knees and the dangerous drop into the sea. The steps were not wide enough and there were no bars so I had alot of difficulty getting back onto the boat when we stopped to snorkel. I can enter deep water easily enough but it was very difficult getting back on board and three men had to help. That was a real shame as I would have loved to have done more snorkeling at the second stop where there were actually fish.

Worst Tour I have Ever Been On - What was sent to me as communication, was not what the tour delivered. A three-hour drive to the pier was the first frustration; this would have been easily avoided if they had been honest - I would not have signed up for this tour. Out of the day, six hours were sitting in a shuttle. All I wanted to do was snorkel, but when we got to Bamboo Island we were not allowed to snorkel because "the water was too low". We were told to walk to the other end of the beach and could snorkel there. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to snorkel there at all. There were people on duty with their whistles who called you out of the water if you tried! All day long they tried to upsell us. Scuba Diving...pay more. Emerald Lagoon, which was in the itinerary as already being paid, you had to pay extra to get a longboat to drop you there. Getting out of the boat was horrific...three people fell off including a child; people from our tour swam over and grabbed the child. People weren't told about the low depth of the water, so there were multiple injuries during the day from jumping off the boat. The tour operators said it was fine to jump off. Paddle boarding was on the itinerary...nothing. No paddleboarding and we had particularly chosen this tour to do this. Snorkelling...ridiculously short. If this is the second review, that parallels the same issues, think seriously about doing this tour. The frustration of the group became apparent: the reason I had taken the tour was to have a decent shot at snorkelling. If this company believes that this is not their modus operandi, then they should refund me for not delivering what I paid for. The best was the end when people were leaving the shuttle. "Hallelujah" was vocalised and a collective sigh of agreement was forthcoming.
