THANK YOU EMMANUEL FOR THE GREAT EXPERIENCE - An extraordinary experience with Emmanuel Our experience with Emmanuel on the Tsiribihina River was one of the most authentic and memorable experiences of our trip to Madagascar. His attitude, his knowledge of the river, its wildlife and the local environment made the whole journey something truly special. Travelling with him in a traditional pirogue, looking for crocodiles and simply living the rhythm of the river, felt like a real adventure rather than a tourist excursion. Inspired by the journey I wrote this: A PIROGUE, THREE CROCODILES AND A COFFEE If one day you find yourself in the middle of Madagascar, in a pirogue just above the water, sipping coffee from an aluminium cup and looking for crocodiles, you may think that something has gone 'strange' in your life. Joking aside, observing crocodiles in the great parks of Africa is wonderful, a wonder given to us by the majesty of the landscapes. There, the animals are the stars, while visitors are the audience, passive spectators. If instead we move away from the safari crowds and look for them while travelling at water level along a little-known river in central Madagascar, it is something else: it is like going to visit them at home. It is like meeting the stars in private, without make-up, in their dressing room after the show. The wonder in these cases comes precisely from this: the majesty of the landscapes has been replaced by the feeling of an authentic encounter. The star is no longer the animal but the observer. This is how we spot a crocodile on the riverbank, hidden among the plants. A less spectacular scene than in the African parks, but tremendously authentic. A little further on, you see another one on the mud, of which you manage to photograph only the right-hand side. A little further downstream, there is a small one. The two boatmen have been rowing for hours. The coffee they have prepared with the moka pot is good, with a strong and intense flavour. The sun is beating down and the pirogue continues downstream with the current in our favour. Now I know that life didn't go 'strange', everything is making sense. And Emmanuel is a big part of why this experience was so special: an excellent guide, knowledgeable, attentive and passionate, who knows the river and its wildlife and makes you feel that you are genuinely discovering Madagascar rather than simply visiting it. Highly recommended.

Amazing Tsiribihina with Emmanuel - Our journey on the Tsiribihina River in a traditional pirogue, followed by visits to Tsingy National Park and Baobab Alley, was a real highlight of our Madagascar trip. The tour was a perfect mix of beautiful nature and local culture. While traveling down the river, we enjoyed amazing scenery and saw birds, lemurs, chameleons, and even crocodiles. Camping on sandbanks under the stars was a peaceful and special experience. The rest of the accommodations were basic and authentic. Our guide, Emmanuel Rakotozafy, took care of everything and made the tour smooth and enjoyable. From tasty meals prepared on the pirogue to handling transportation, he made sure we were comfortable and fully enjoyed the trip. Emmanuel’s knowledge of Madagascar’s plants and animals made the experience even more special. We highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a well-organized and authentic experience in Madagascar. Incredible experience in canoe - By far my best adventure and my best memory of Madagascar! 3 days by canoe followed by a visit of tsingy and baobab alley in Morondava! Our Daddy Guide has organized everything and is truly a trusted person. I had the opportunity to go with him twice, being a young woman traveling alone I always felt safe and everything always went perfectly! Daddy is a caring person who can always be counted on and always smiles. I highly recommend ☀️🤩 (Her contact details if anyone is interested: mada.traveler@gmail.com and her what’s app: +261 32 14 938 25)
