The best day ever!!! - My cousin (57) and I (55) took an e-bike tour in La Coruna on August 5, 2025. We met at the bike shop and was a minute or two late because i was having a hard time getting an Uber. When I really sat down and looked at a map I realized we could have walked to the shop, but also I realized that there were cabs across the street lined up that I did not see when we were trying to get the Uber. When we arrived at the bike shop we were warmly greeted by the owner and our guide, Miguel. Miguel was the star of the day, his commentary and patience were beyond anything that I would have expected from a young man his age. I had total confidence in him and he kept us safely moving throughout the city on the ample waterfront bike trails that are actually the longest in Europe. To that point, I must confess I had not ridden an e-bike ever, and had not ridden a normal bike in about twenty years. In addition, I am from the suburbs of New York, so I am not familiar with the rules of bike trails and the way they intersect with city streets. I was so nervous when I arrived that I almost backed out. I was close to a panic attack, and part of the problem was there was no little parking lot for me to practice in...it was just a big street and some bike lanes, and a confused person (ME) who didn't even know which direction to look in for traffic. It was only because the owner and Miguel encouraged us, and told us we would be ok, that I even attempted to get on the bike. It was rough for a couple minutes as I felt I didn't know how to ride a bike and I didn't know how to drive on the bike lanes...I remember attempting to take the bike up on the sidewalk. But Miguel rode up next to me and encouraged me to straighten my bike out and try to pedal in the lane. Meanwhile my cousin was feeling the same internal pressure and she was about to give up a few hundred yards away. Boy am I happy we didn't give up!! I was shaky for a few blocks, and I was trying to get the timing right for the electric component, which I largely didn't use unless I was on an uphill situation. In less than five minutes I felt like a pro....we were cruising along on the bike paths following Miguel like ducks.... we are joined by another couple who were obviously in better shape and used to bikes, but to be honest, it was in my head, because within twenty minutes I was riding right up at the front as well as they were. They even laughed at the end and said they were worried at the beginning about us...but we faced our fears and concentrated and didn't let the pressure or unfamiliar territory get to us. For anyone that hasn't been on a bike in a while or is overweight, don't assume you can't do it. Give it a chance and listen to Miguel.... he will get you flying!!!! So that is the bike portion of the review.... but that was just the tip of the iceberg....the places he took us...I can't even begin to tell you about the beauty and the pride he has in his city and the culture. I have been completely captivated by this city and the rich history and beautiful coastline. It is one of my favorite places in the world and I am in the process of trying to rent an Airbnb for a month so that I can learn to speak Spanish and possibly take some longer trips there in the future. I never would have gotten the feel for this place if I hadn't gone on this e-bike trip.... walking around the port area I would have missed all of what this city has to offer. Run!!! do not walk!!!! to the e-bike shop and take the risk!!!! You will be happy you tried!!!!

A great way to see A Coruña. - Excellent bikes, great guide, beautiful scenery and a sunny day. We saw most of the city highlights and then spent the rest of the day in the old told. Highly recommended.

Excellent cycling tour - great fun! - Great city tour, mainly on cycle paths. Danny did a great job of interjecting history and humour and keeping us entertained! Highly recommend this to get your bearings in the city!

Super tour, friendly guide - Valerie, our tour guide, told us about Coruna’s rich history in a friendly way. We had many interesting stops around Coruna, dived deep into history and saw a lot. Great tour, great guide!

Best way to see La Coruna - What an amazing was to see La Coruna! We have never done an ebike before but we Loved it!! We went all the way around the peninsula with stops at all the major sites. Miguel our guide was fabulous giving us history of them all. I can't say enough good things about this tour. And it helps it was a beautiful day!!

E-Bike Tour - It was a great experience to learn about the city and the country. The history of LaCoruna is pretty interesting. The guide was very knowledgeable and easily approachable to ask questions about the city and the history.

A ride around town. - La Coruna is a small town on the north coast of Spain. We were on a cruise so not much time to wonder. To get a flavor for the city and to see some of the main sites we took a e-bike tour. We are flat landers from Florida so any hills are challenging to us. So the e-bikes were perfect. During the two hour tour we stopped at the tower of Hercules and enjoyed a visit with explanations from our tour leader. He was very knowledgeable and super friendly. Two hours was the perfect amount of time. We highly recommend this experience.

Great tour - What a fantastic day, we are a group of friends in our sixty’s and one of us hasn’t ridden a bike for 50 years. She was very nervous but the guys were great, they practised with her up and down the footpath and ran beside her until she felt comfortable . Off we went on our adventure all around A Coruna, the bikes were so easy and the bike tracks felt very safe. The guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend this tour. Porto e-bikes overview - Porto is a great place to ride and this tour has great bikes and a wonderful staff. It was a good balance of riding and info stops with a small group (10).

Highlight of our quick visit to A Corunàá - Fun afternoon and we had plenty of time to walk back to our cruise ship. They have nice bikes with plenty of power to get you around.
