Great tour with a friendly and knowledgeable guide - We did the guided walking tour of Aarhus with Gulia who was really excellent. Gulia spoke great English and is originally from Italy and has lived in Aarhus for a number of years. She had a great knowledge of the City, its history, people and shopping and cafes and shared insightful thoughts on moving to live in a cold climate country. Guilia showed us the local shops and cafes where the locals eat and shop. A great way to learn about Central Aarhus and see the wonderful street frescos around the city.

Great City Tour - We booked this walking tour as a shore excursion for our ship’s stop in Aarhus. The tour was booked for the same time that our ship docked, but I was able to communicate with the tour operator and our tour guide waited for us at the meeting point. We had a great personalized tour of Aarhus. Our guide (Julia) shared a great deal of history and local culture, emphasizing the pride the Danish people have in their Viking heritage, their religion, their culture and customs. We saw a great deal of the city in a short time and wound highly recommend this tour to offers visiting Aarhus.

It depends on your guide - Overall our guide was fairly knowledgeable with a couple of exceptions. 1. Her voice was too soft and you couldnt hear unless you were up close. 2. She talked while walking which made hearing her impossible. 3. She didn’t research the sites she took us too. The church which we were suppose to tour was close because of a holiday, but she didn’t know this. She should have. It would have nice she would have mentioned other sites and restaurants for us to visit after the tour. She didn’t.
