Trek to Jagat

Jagat - Enjoy an easy trail through the thick forest by the Budhi Gandaki River. Pass through various villages primarily inhabited by the Gurung community. The trek includes farmland, rivers, and villages. As you climb higher, the trail narrows. Cross some seasonal streams before hiking over a suspension bridge across the Budhi Gandaki River to reach Jagat.

Mount Manaslu - The trek to Deng involves some uphill climbs, with limited villages and households along the way. The trail passes through forests and farmland, offering majestic views of hills, mountains, and rivers.

Samagaun - As you enter the Himalayas, the hike becomes easier and more relaxing due to the majestic views. With less vegetation along the trail, explore the vast area. The trail leads through an open area with minimal vegetation, often covered in snow during winter. Enjoy panoramic views of the mighty Himalayas, including Annapurna II (7937m), Himlung Himal (7126m), Kang Guru (6981m), Cheo Himal (6820m), and Gyaji Kung (7030m). Continue hiking to Dharamsala, reminiscent of the Tibetan Dalai Lama’s abode.

Trek to Bimthang Via Larkya La Pass 5106m

Mount Manaslu - This day presents a challenge in terms of altitude. Begin the trail to the Himalayas, crossing Larkya La Pass, the highest point of the trek. Larkya La Pass offers majestic views of Manaslu, Annapurna, and numerous other peaks. Descend towards Bimthang village, passing prayer flags, mani stones, and gumbas.

Dharapani - Enjoy an easy day with a descending trail. As you descend, encounter villages and settlements where Buddhism is practiced. With stupas, gumbas, and a farewell to the Himalayas, cross a river to reach Dharapani.

Besisahar - An easy trail today, driving along and above the Marshyandi River. Passing by hydropower, the trail broadens, leading to Besisahar. Explore the mountain city and capital of the Lamjung district.

Drive to Kathmandu

Kathmandu Durbar Square - From Dharapani, take a drive back to Kathmandu on the same day. This journey takes around 7-8 hours, passing rivers and villages on drivable roads, eventually reaching well-paved roads to arrive in Kathmandu.
