- Zeus Dive Center Tenerife - Explore the stunning underwater realm of the Atlantic Ocean in the sheltered bay of Abades on Tenerife. No prior experience is required, and within our small groups, you will receive personalized attention.
Upon arrival at the dive center, you will be equipped with a new outfit, including a wetsuit, mask, snorkel, and fins. Your instructor will guide you on how to use the equipment and the appropriate behavior in the water.
You will then be transported to a different world, accessible directly from the beach, and experience the sensation of breathing underwater through a snorkel while floating on the surface. Hold your breath and attempt to dive a few meters underwater; it’s a lot of fun!
No prior experience is necessary for this snorkeling adventure to explore our beautiful volcanic house reef. You might encounter sleeping octopuses and be accompanied by schools of curious fish in a wide variety of shapes, colors, and sizes, such as trumpetfish, parrotfish, rays, and starfish. Who knows? You might spot a seahorse or come face-to-face with a turtle.
After an hour of guided snorkeling, you are welcome to use the snorkeling equipment to further explore our bay on your own.

Since fishing is forbidden here and there isn´t much movement at the surface, like swimmers and boat traffic, the ocean here is full of life, which you find close to shore.Â

Abades is a local village on the east coast of the island, away from the tourist area. This makes it a quiet area, with a quiet, sandy, natural beach. Since fishing is forbidden here and there isn´t much movement at the surface, like swimmers and boat traffic, the ocean here is full of life, which you find close to shore.Â
Our snorkel spots are easily accessible from this beach, which we find a minute’s walk away from our dive center.Â
If you’d like to eat or drink anything after snorkeling, you´ll find small restaurants with outside terraces and a supermarket directly on the cozy square in front of our center.Â
Non-snorkers will enjoy the beach.
