• Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery - Begin your visit with a brief film in the auditorium, followed by an opportunity to explore the heritage centre and learn about the fascinating history of John Dewar & Sons. This portion of your visit is self-guided with the help of audio guides/iPads, available in multiple languages. An experienced tour guide will then lead you through the Aberfeldy Distillery and warehouse, offering insights into the whisky-making process! The tour concludes with a small dram in the whisky lounge for adults and seniors. Drivers can request a take-away pack to make a Maime Taylor cocktail at home.

Please note that your ticket does not include transportation to or from the distillery. The distillery is situated on the outskirts of the charming town of Aberfeldy, nestled along the River Tay, 20 minutes from the A9 in Highland Perthshire, and 90 minutes from Edinburgh. Free parking is available.

Additional tastings and whisky cocktails can be enjoyed at the bar. Visitors can explore the shop featuring the complete Dewar’s collection, along with exclusive limited edition single cask bottlings, and even fill their own bottle with a specially selected cask of Aberfeldy Single Malt.

Tours are conducted throughout the day, and visitors should present their voucher upon arrival. Please be aware that the last tour is one hour before closing, though it is recommended to allow 1.5 hours for your visit.

There is a café on site, but your ticket does not include food – reservations are not required for the café.

As a traditional working distillery, visitors are required to wear appropriate footwear during the distillery tour (no high heels or open-toed shoes allowed).

Regrettably, dogs (except assistance dogs) are not allowed in the visitor centre or distillery.

The visitor centre and heritage centre are fully accessible; however, due to the historical nature of the distillery building, the tour can be modified for visitors with limited mobility. A full accessibility statement is available.
