Temple of Horus Temple of Kom Ombo - Day two of the cruise.
Mr. Muhammad, who guided me to the Kom Ombo temple of Horus, was very helpful in speaking slowly and carefully to me, who was not good at English. He is a reliable guide.

3 nights 4 day Nile cruise to/from Cairo - I am on a four-day, three-night cruise on the Nile to and from Cairo. Today is the third day.
I originally booked with another tour company called Modi Egypt Tours, but two days before the tour started I suddenly got a call to postpone the tour by a day.
We were contacted very closely from the beginning of the reservation and we were able to participate with peace of mind. I think it would be very nice if there was no problem communicating in English. It is better to put it in your phone in advance as it uses WhatsApp to contact you.
On day one, our guide met Mary, a female guide from Aswan, at Aswan airport as a driver, and we were told that we could travel by sedan to see Aswan Dam and Philae Temple, and after that we could go to an aroma shop, a spice shop or a papyrus shop. I tried a few scents, but I left without buying anything. After that, I was taken to a cruise ship. We tipped each of them US$5.
On the second day, we left the cruise ship at 4am for the Abu Shimbel shrine. There are 8 tourists in the minibus with our guide Gabriel and two drivers. It's a long trip of about 4 hours each way, and 3 hours after the checkpoint that it opens at 5 a.m. I'm driving pretty rough. On the way, we take a bathroom break once. Each person gets 20 EGP for the toilet, and if you give them 1 USD bill, they will change 20 EGP bill. Toilets everywhere required the same amount of tips. When you return from Abu Shimbel , you will travel by cruise ship for about 2½ hours and walk to Kom Ombo Temple. Mosquitoes are present in the evening, so you should keep insects out. Then travel by cruise ship at night. Gabriel stays on the same cruise ship because he will be with us the next day, but the driver tipped us US$5 each because that was the end of the journey from Abu Shimbel to the cruise ship.
On the third day, we will visit Edfu Temple by horse-drawn carriage from a cruise ship at 6:45am for breakfast. Return to the cruise ship in the same carriage. I gave the bearer a tip of US$2. Cruise ships leave just after 9am and head to Luxor.
All three cruise ship meals are reasonably good buffet style. But there is a charge for everything except coffee and orange juice for breakfast, including water. They will share the same nationality. We are at the same table as the Chinese family.
The standard room is on the lower level of the water surface, and the higher the price, the higher the floor. There is a narrow shower booth and a sink and toilet.
When you leave the cruise ship for sightseeing, you are given a boarding card, which you return when you return to the ship.
Internet is available for a fee of 7 USD (cash only) for 3 days with Wifi. You can only connect one car at a time. They connect in the room, but not on the deck upstairs.
The price of the tour is reasonably high, but for Egypt it is well-arranged and I think it would be nice if it were once in a lifetime.
Tomorrow morning we will go on a hot air balloon and Luxor tour. They will pack your bags in the morning, check out, leave your bags on the boat for sightseeing and then pick them up and drive you to Luxor airport. I'm concerned that the flight time is a bit late, departing from Luxor at 18:50 PM, but it's better than too soon.

Magical Discovery Tour - Our guide Mos tafa was warm and friendly, the team loved him, gave a highly detailed explanation and introduction, leaving us enough time to visit and tour, take care of everyone's needs, help everyone take pictures, distribute small food, and everyone fully felt the kindness and enthusiasm of the local people and professional

Sightseeing and relaxing with the Nile cruise - We had a lovely time on the cruise: an amazing start with Abu Simbel temple and kind and wise guide Ahmed Ali (would definitely recommend Ahmed!). Then we had a great time on the boat, which was large and comfortabele, and had very helpfull staff who helped making it a relaxing experience when watching the Nile-banks float by. The boat and the tours (and airballoon!) Are excellent value for money. The only thing is the communication from Nice tours; while they are friendly, we never found out our itinerary for the three days, and they would only tell us the pick up time for expedition the next morning somewhere the evening before. Since you always have to get up very early for expeditions, this caused a lot of confusion for us and the boat staff. Also, in the Edfu temple, Nice Tours arranged a tour guide that did not keep to the agreed upon schedule. He brought us back to the ship half an hour late. Everyone on the ship had to wait for us, and because of the narrow crossing near Edfu we ended up being 6 hours later in Luxor than planned. Apart from the planning hiccups, we had a great time, and we would definitely recommend this cruise!

On the road in Kom Ombo and Edfu - I. was traveling with guide Mr Ali in Kom Ombo and Edfu. The tour was well organized and Mr. Ali explained to me the history and meaning of the reliefs competently and simply. Can only recommend him. The tour was supposed to take place in the early morning, there were a lot of people on the way.

Nice tour communication... - Nice tour communication was excellent throughout the cruises, tours and hot air balloon ride. Most of the guides spoke English and knowledgeable but some were hard to understand. The cruise ship was outdated for deluxe category but the staff was amazing and food was great. I will definitely book future tours through Nice tour.

A Memorable Nile Cruise with Ellie and Nice Tours - We booked this experience as part of the Nice Tours 2-Night Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor, available through GetYourGuide, Viator, and other booking platforms. The rate was very competitive, though it’s important to note that you don’t find out your specific cruise line until about a day before departure, which may not work for everyone. You select your cabin category and are then assigned accommodations accordingly (standard, deluxe, or luxury). I would recommend the deluxe or luxury options.
Nice Tours provides the guides, some of whom were better than others. While it would be ideal if all guides were of the same high quality, variability is understandable and can happen anywhere. There were a few bumps along the way, and despite everyone’s best efforts, not everything went as smoothly as expected. However, they were available, responsive, and answered all communications via WhatsApp. Their approach and style of coordination are different from what we might be used to in the U.S.—often last-minute and with limited information—but in the end, everything works out. Nice tours and most of its guides went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy and satisfied with our experience.
Our boat, the Ellie, was modern, beautiful, and exceptionally clean. The food was good and varied, prepared with great attention to detail. The top deck was especially beautiful and felt luxurious compared to other boats, which appeared more dated. Evening activities and meals were well organized. Wake-up calls were provided daily, which helped the day run smoothly. The staff was consistently attentive, and professional throughout the trip. We particularly appreciated the housekeeping crew, the bartender, and our dinner waiter for their friendliness and attentiveness. The fact that it is often used by larger travel groups seemed like a good indicator of its quality.
I want to note that on the last day, we were presented with an envelope for tips. While we understood the purpose, we were not aware of this procedure and had already generously tipped the staff we interacted with. We left an additional tip in the envelope. The envelope was opened in front of us, the front desk staff appeared upset, even though the amount we left was comparable to American standards. One couple was stopped on the way out and ask to add more money to their envelope, which is not considered a good practice in the U, made everyone feel uncomfortable, and did not land well with us.
The structure of the tipping process had inherent inequities, and unfortunately, our actions became part of that. I suggest that tipping expectations be clearly communicated prior or at check-in so that ALL guests are on the same page and misunderstandings like this can be avoided. Alternatively, tipping could be included in the total cost upfront, similar to the practice on some American cruises.

To flee - A FUÏRE!!
No organization, nice tours ruined our vacation. No commercial gesture made for all the inconveniences we had. Clearly insufficient communication.
We had taken an organized trip to not have a mental burden and we find ourselves stressed by the lack of organization, competence and consideration of this organization.
To list the problems:
- a cruise booked for 5 nights initially: amputated one night what we learn at the Check-in
- the night before the last night they still do not know where to make us sleep (reassuring when we are 4 young girls in Egypt),
- notify at 1am of the start of the excursion that same morning at 4am,
- a guide arriving 40 minutes late: result a visit to the temple at the pace not to miss the boat,
- carriage ride supposed to be taken care of by the organization or we find ourselves being assaulted by the driver who asks us to pay,
...and so on
To all this a passive response, belated, without solution, "we are working on it" the day before for the next day...
Communication is done by a whatsapp number, which answers once every 5 hours, with gpt chat style messages, impossible to have them on the phone.
We are extremely disappointed and do not wish this holiday to anyone else
