Good company for going to Abu Simbel. - This was a good trip. We had a minibus just for the 4 of us, and a guide joined us as of Aswan. They took us to a nice restaurant afterwards, in Abu Simbel town, a bit away from the site, so with acceptable pricing.

A PERFECT day in Abu Simbel! - It was just perfect! The smooth communication via what’s app to schedule the hotel meeting, the driver’s drive and the guide who spoke excellent French made this experience an unforgettable moment to discover this sublime site! The possibility to leave out of step with the groups of tourists (they leave at 4am) means that we end up on the site with much fewer tourists and allows to fully enjoy the places. Solo and offbeat it pays off and it's worth it! - Support top! Be careful if you stay on an island the rendezvous will be on the east shore of Aswan but the connection is simple (ferry 15EG/pers) Our guide Ahmed Salah was perfect! He even pointed us to a great restaurant before the return. Departed at 9am - arrive 12.30pm in Abu Simbel - left at 3pm after the restaurant - return Aswan 6pm

Abu Simbel day trip from Aswan - Excellent tour highly recommended. 3 hr drive each way, glad it wasn't me driving. The site itself was impressive.

Great experience going to Abu Simbel - Ahmed (+20 11 04829758) was our driver for the 3 1/2 hour drive each way. He knows the roads very well and was a reliable driver. He was punctual and went out of his way to make us feel safe.

I wouldn't repeat - Included in the excursion was a bottle of water and a snack that we were not given. It says the guide was coming with us from Aswan and you picked him up 5 minutes from Abu Simbel. The explanation was correct.

Beautiful temple but guide not useful - Abu Simbel is a great temple to visit despite the world. However, we question the usefulness of the guide for this visit. We spent a total of 10 minutes with the guide who showed us pictures of the inside of the temple because he could not enter. The explanations were quick and we were dispatched. In addition, the car for 8 hours round trip was out of age and not comfortable.

A terrible organisational mess! - I had booked and confirmed this trip with the tour operator, Marawan, well ahead of time. Yet, on the day, we could not find the driver. The operator asked us to look for a grey car! But since this was a public park and there were lots of cars parked there, I asked him to let the driver come to us and identify himself. The driver came and he was in a small old sedan car. This made the 3.5 hour trip very uncomfortable. The trip was to include a private tour guide, snacks and bottled water and entrance fees. None of it was prepared; when we arrived at the temple, the driver dropped us off and asked how much time we need! When I explained to the driver that there should be a guide waiting for us, he called Marawan and I spoke to him. He said, yes, don't worry, the guide is already there and waiting for you. The driver apologised and said that he had no prior knowledge as he doesn't work for the company, but his brother did and they only called him last minute to cover! The guide then called and also said that he was not aware and in fact he was at home and not onsite and would need 20 minutes to come to us and was also called last minute.
