• Abu Simbel Temples - At the scheduled time, the operator will pick guests up from their hotel in Aswan and drive approximately 3 hours south to enjoy a day tour of Abu Simbel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. The two Temples of Abu Simbel, renowned for their distinctive style, are considered masterpieces of ancient Egypt, showcasing the glory and grandeur of the New Kingdom. To preserve these temples from flooding, the Egyptian government and UNESCO collaborated on a rescue mission. The Temple of Ramses II is dedicated to the four universal gods: Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and Ramses II himself. This magnificent temple is also known as The Sun Temple of Ramses II. The Temple of Queen Nefertari, also known as the Temple of Hathor, symbolizes the union of Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor, and the Sun God. Visitors will spend approximately 3 hours exploring the site before returning to Aswan.
