Immersive. Inclusive. Informative - Thank you for your patience and hospitality. You gave us one of the best quick experiences of Accra; taking us to the Makola market, bargaining with the locals, and more

Take lots of pictures. This is epic. - What a wonderful Wednesday trip. Picked up promptly and got the tour underway with introductions of the tour guide and other passengers. Drove through Accra and talked about the city and driving around the city. First stop was at the W.E.B. DuBois Center. Truly a treat. Got to walk through one of the great minds home and now Museum and see his handwritten notes, his library, and mausoleum and resting place. Incredible. Thank you Victoria for your knowledge and dedication.
From there we made our way to the Center for National Culture. Another Museum. Great experience. The docent was passionate about the Ghanaian culture and history. Very grateful to have Mystic Mike guide us. Very insightful.
After the museum we went to Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park. A must see experience. Absolutely beautiful and stunning. Nkrumah is an amazing person and Ghana leader. Have to see the memorial and appreciate the sacrifices Nkrumah suffered for his country. Just a ten minute walk from the park went to the hustling Makola Market. If you come to Accra you have to go to Makola Market. It’s high-level crazy bargaining and bargains if you know what you want. Definitely, not a place for the timid.
Last place on the tour was Independence Square. I knew it as Black Star Gate. Another iconic Instagram photo opportunity. Absolutely loved the tour. Completely worth every penny. Highly recommend.

Best last day in Ghana - My friend and I decided only the day before to do this tour.
Our tour guide Eben picked us up at the hotel. It is our last day in Ghana as we are going home tomorrow.
We had already visited Kwame Nkrumah memorial park so we asked Eben to skip that part. It was no problem. Instead we started visiting the W.E.B. DuBois Carter which was very interesting.
Eben had a great knowlegde of everything and he shared it with us.
Next stop was Center for national culture. Then we had lunch (not included). It was a great experience, even if the food was not like we are used to. I am glad we tasted it.
Next stop was Markola market. Eben managed to find everything we needed. But I am so glad we had someone with knowledge of the market with us.
As we skipped the mermorial park, Eben took us to the art center instead.
At last we ended up visiting the independece square.
Eben was by far the best guide we had in this trip to Africa (we also visited Togo). He was fun, knowlegdable and caring. We highly recommend him. He þade our last day here special.
My friend works as a tour guide in Iceland, if Eben ever decides to visit our country, she would guide him.
