A Must-Do Tour in Ghana – Insightful, Moving, and Well-Organized - I wholeheartedly recommend this tour—it’s an absolute must if you’re staying in or visiting Ghana. Our guide, Portia, was incredibly knowledgeable, and we learned so much about Ghanaian culture, history, and the stories of small villages along the way. She was also excellent at coordinating with the local guides at each site, including Kakum National Park, Elmina Castle, and Cape Coast Castle. The way the local guides shared the heartbreaking history, especially at the castles, was deeply moving and impactful. The vehicle was clean and air-conditioned, and the complimentary water was a lifesaver in the heat. The road to Cape Coast can be quite challenging, so having a skilled driver made all the difference. This tour truly had everything—we couldn’t have asked for more!

Cape Coast Adventure - The Cape Coast tour was a long day but worth every minute!! We asked for Mosses for our guide based off reviews we had read. The reviews didn’t do justice to the experience we had with him. He is an amazing guide, full off history and culture!! Scheduling the tour was very easy and the company was very responsive to our questions prior to booking. The hotel pick up and drop off sealed the deal. We would recommend this tour when visiting Ghana.

Book immediately, don't hesitate! - I had an amazing trip today to Cape Coast with Eben as my tour guide. The moment he picked me up i felt welcomed and treated with care. He is extremely knowledgeable, a great person to talk to and during lunch took us to a fantastic restaurant next to the beach. I am so glad I got to experience the castles with him by my side. Book immediately and you won't be disappointed ✨️

Best tour & guide you can ask for - I am a solo traveler and I had Eben. 48 hours prior to my excursion he reached out to me to confirm the details. Upon pick up everything was a delight. Cold water, wifi, safe driver & he is EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the Ghanaian culture. I had a great experience all day with Eben plus for lunch we had an authentic Ghanaian meal next to the beach. I highly recommend this tour for anyone coming to Ghana 🇬🇭

Must Do Tour in Ghana - A must do tour when in Ghana to learn about the tragic past of our Ancestors! I ddi my tour with Eben who was, as always, super knowledgeable, friendly, and the perfect guide for such a long day ( the journey to and from Accra is quite long). Also, the restaurant for lunch that Eben recommended was the best meal I had during my 10 day stay in Ghana. Highly recommend!

Nice tour, but consider a different tour operator. - The trip itself was interesting enough with the castles and other activities and the local guides on the castles were very good (5 star), but for me the main tour guide Moses ruined my trip completely (1 star). This ended up being a very negative experience.

A most disappointing experience - If you think you might like a guide that talks about the country and the places you are passing during the seven hours of driving that a one day Cape Coast tour involves, DON'T do this tour. DON'T do this tour is you like a guide who makes a bit of small talk and a few jokes, or one who welcomes questions about the many interesting sights you see as you drive. Our guide spent more time reprimanding me for not being ready on time (she arrived 15 minutes before the pick up time) than she did telling me about the rich history of the Cape Coast. She made a couple of seemingly prepared speeches. One of the two about the immediate past president bulldozing a Liberian refugee camp and deporting the Liberian refugees that had been left homeless, an act she seemed to agree with. She then told us she would not disturb us by speaking any further, and was true to her word. She did not speak to us again, except to the driver and on her phone, not even to announce our arrival at places when we stopped or advise us to take water on the national park walk. Even during the lunch break, which was much longer than the castle tours because the food that was supposed to be prepared was not and had to be cooked after we arrived, our guide did not talk to us, except to complain about the food not being ready. She sat playing games on her phone as we ate lunch. This was a truly disappointing tour experience. After having spent the previous day walking around Accra talking to friendly people and hearing random facts about the city, I was expecting a guide who was at least friendly and probably knowledgeable. For me the guide makes or breaks any tour. Like every other Cape Coast tour, this one goes to three interesting places, each of which provides its own guide. But you get nothing more than that. So save your money and hire a driver rather than book this tour.

Meh - Nice man but he was a little bit too chatty and delayed us on our journey. When we told him we wanted to come home because we were tired, he ignored us and brought us to a palm wine seller so we try it. That was quite an uncomfortable experience overall.
