Best travel company - We took their 6 days service It's was best service from the travel company.... To be precise i had made a point to have driver with miniibus at first pickup point at 5 in the morning...Driver nit only called and coordinated the pickup but also he showed politeness throughout the tour.... Driving to omo valley was smooth and fulfilling considering the breaks we took and the hot in the area.... Entire day be it internal logistical shift or place visit the driver was always ready and courteous.... Left late in the evening in a very well maintained bus with top cooling and neon lighting with great memories of our trip... Reach arba minch late and driver ensured everyone is happy with the service.
the experience of the travel company in providing vehicle ,guide and accommodatio. surpasses beyond expectation... Feels Like Home. Thanks. Looking forward for many such trips in state and out state.

Great Experience - I booked late the night before with Danakil Depression Tours to do the guided omo vall y tour - they were prompt in sending me a confirmation and giving me updated information on meeting locations.
My turmi guide kia was on time and walked with me from the meeting spot to the gateway, where he purchased our tickets before leading us to the village . He respected that I preferred to be quiet and take in the scenery, and answered questions when asked.
Unfortunately I don’t remember the name of my karo guide, however he was incredibly knowledgeable on the history of the caves and gave me a lot of information on each carving we saw. He was also incredibly patient with my struggle of walking up the hill to the caves.
Overall a great experience and definitely worth checking out the caves - just be prepared to have to do a lot of walking/climbing stairs to get to the caves (make sure you have good non-slip shoes).
There’s also a lot of vendors on the island so it’s worth having cash if you want to buy anything, however some do have card available.

Omo Valley unique place with Glamour Tours - Our recent family trip to Omo Valley with Danakil Toure was an absolutely wonderful experience! Everything was well-organized, from the accommodations to the sightseeing. The itinerary was well-planned, allowing us to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of omo valley without any hassles.
A special mention to our guide, who was knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to help. His insights and local recommendations made the trip even more memorable.
Overall, Danakil Tours provided excellent service, and I highly recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Ethiopia !Will definitely choose them again for future travels.

Such wonderful experience - We recently went on a 6-day trip to omo valley with Danakil Depression Tours, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Our tour manager Mickey, and guide Abey were incredibly professional and made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout the trip. Special mention to our driver, who made the journey smooth and pleasant. The itinerary was perfectly balanced, giving us plenty of time to explore each destination at a relaxed pace, while still staying on track and covering all the major attractions as planned. It also included a variety of cultural shows, which while being entertaining, also allowed us to learn a lot about the Thai culture. The accommodations were very comfortable, the food was great, and we encountered no issues during the trip. Our tour manager Mickey responsible, patient and friendly attitude made the entire trip enjoyable and worry-free, and we’re really grateful for his efforts in making this experience special for our family. Overall, it was a memorable trip, and we’ll definitely be choosing Danakil Depression Tours for our next vacation. Highly recommended 🙌

Extraordinary Service - A big thanks to Mickey and his team for a wonderful trip full of good memories. We contacted him at short duration and he was very professional, came back promptly, solved all our queries, provided a customised itinerary that suited us including some offbeat places which others didn't offer and he was also available on holidays to support us. He provided every request that we made including our hotel preferences at nominal cost increase and ensured that we had a smooth journey. DDTours is Highly recommended with 5 stars. Looking forward to more such customised comfortable caring trips in future.
A big shout out also to our host and driver Alex .Alex was the best - prompt, punctual, courteous, caring, resourceful, accommodating and knowledgeable. What he didn't knew, he made efforts to get information on. He kept the car neat and clean throughout the journey.

The best trip of my life - My experience with this company was wonderful! Getting in touch with them and the communication was very convenient and super easy. They were able to accommodate and come up with a plan for the short amount of time that I had to spend. We started off inAddis went to Afar, then jinka Arab Minch and then returned back to Addis to spend a day just resting and relaxing in the city. Each location that we stopped at we were provided with an english speaking guide, which worked out perfectly for my friends that I was traveling with. Our driver Gidi for the whole trip was wonderful, he was super nice, professional and knowledgable. He was able to answer all of our questions and was very communicative. The long car drives did not even feel like they were long. The drives were very comfortable and very safe. We did not even realize how quickly the days flew by. We were able to experience and enjoy the beautiful forts and be amongst the elephants and camels which was a fun adventure. All the hotels and accommodations were super clean and perfect. I would highly recommend this company and all the services that they provided. All of the guides were knowledgeable about every location and were able to provide us with great historical information that will be remembered. Overall, a great time and I would definitely go through them again to book my future trips in India. We could not have asked for a better trip!

Fanatastic time - I spent a great time with Mickey in Omo Valley. He speaks great English and each time he proposes you the best way to enjoy the Omo valley tribe up to the time you've got and he proposes you the best packaging up to your budget. He is really honest and respectfull. In his private life he helps street children to have a home and food. He is really a trustful person. My trip was amazing thanks to his good advises and I spent less money that what I was expecting. I have good memories and pictures.

My favourite driver, ever!! Mickey, you are the best! - Robel ( Mickey was a great companion and guide to this outstanding experience.
Fortunately I have travelled around quite a bit. Visited up to now +60 countries. But never have I come across an experience as this one. I spent a week travelling with Mickey visiting six of the tribes on the Omo Valley. It was literally like being in a Nat Geo documentary!
I arranged from Argentina with Mickey via WA a more than affordable price, which included hotels, food, and photos (I only paid for the souvenirs I bought), he picked me up at my hotel in Addis and returned me there a week later. We visited the most relevant tribes, the Hamar, Dassanetch, Mursi, Bona, Karo, and Dorze. He arranged with local guides from each of the tribes to walk me through their villages explaining culture and lifestyles. I even shared a bowl of cascara (known as coffee cherry tea), with Mursi tribesmen. A tea made with the dried skins of coffee beans (yes, in the land of coffee the tribes sell de bean and infuse the husk!!). We visited two tribal markets and took the most stunning photos of all of my trips. Really an unparalleled experience. Thanks Mickeyl!!
