Bale Mountains - Dinsho Lodge
Dinsho - Embark on a full day’s drive to Bale Mountain National Park, traveling through the southeastern part of the capital, where the fertile land is cultivated by the Oromo people. Arrive at Dinsho (Park HQ) in the afternoon, in time to explore and see some endemic mammals: Menelik’s Bushbuck and Mountain Nyala, as well as birds like the Blue-winged Goose, Spot-breasted Lapwing, Abyssinian Longclaw, Wattled Ibis, Black-headed Siskin, Rouget’s Rail, and many other species.
Dinsho - Geysay Valley
Dinsho - Spend the entire day exploring Dinsho and Geysay Valley. Hike to see three endemic mammals: Menelik’s Bushbuck, Mountain Nyala, and the Ethiopian Wolf.

Bale Mountains - Accompanied by a guide, a scout, and packhorses, trek for 5 hours through lush highland vegetation to the first campsite. The air is clean and crisp, and the scenery is breathtaking.

Sanetti Plateau - Trek for 5 hours to the highest peak in the Bale Mountains, Tullu Deemtu (4,377m, 14,357ft), part of the Sanetti Plateau. The views are stunning and perfect for photography. Discover small alpine lakes and typical afro-alpine vegetation, including the Giant Lobelia and shrubs like ‘Everlasting’. Enjoy vistas of the unique pinnacles of Chorchora Peak and the sheer-sided Tegona River Gorge, with views of the steep-sided volcanic plug of Konteh Tullu and the long, rugged ridges of Mount Batu.
Goba - Addis Ababa
Addis Ababa - Return to Addis Ababa with stops at the Rift Valley Lakes. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner party at a traditional Ethiopian restaurant with dances from various ethnic groups. Then, transfer to the airport for the flight home.
