• National Museum of Ethiopia - THE NATIONAL MUSEUM

This museum houses a diverse collection of archaeological and cultural artifacts from Ethiopia.

Visitors can see the 3.2 million-year-old, renowned hominid skeleton, discovered in 1974 at Hadar, known as Lucy (Dinknesh). This discovery has supported the theory that Ethiopia is the cradle of humankind.

• Mount Entoto - MOUNT ENTOTO

The highest peak in Addis Ababa, with an altitude of 3,200 meters, was the site of the first palace of Emperor Menelik II, the founder of Addis Ababa. St. Mary Church, where the Emperor was crowned, is located here.
