Addis Ababa - Begin your journey with a flight from Addis Ababa to Arba Minch, departing Bole International Airport at 7:40 am and arriving at 8:45 am. Upon arrival, meet your guide and driver. After breakfast, explore Arba Minch (Forty Springs) and the crocodile market. Enjoy a boat trip on Lake Chamo, Ethiopia’s most productive lake, where you’ll encounter hippos, Africa’s largest crocodiles, and birds of prey.
After lunch at a top restaurant with breathtaking views, travel to the Dorze village to discover traditional beehive-shaped huts recognized by UNESCO. Return to Arba Minch for an overnight stay.
Arba Minch, meaning “Forty Springs,” is renowned for its springs, stunning landscapes, and wildlife. Highlights include Lake Chamo’s hippos and crocodiles, the Forty Springs, and the vibrant culture and weaving traditions of the Dorze Tribe.
From Arba Minch Drive to Turmi with a Visit to Konso UNESCO Registered Cultural Village

• Evening Drive to Turmi: Continue your journey to Turmi for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Konso and enjoy a lunch break. In Konso, visit one of the nine UNESCO registered villages. The Konso people are known for erecting stones and poles called generation poles, raised every 18 years to signify the start of a new generation.
The age of a village can be determined by the number of poles still standing. After the visit, drive to Turmi for the overnight stay.
From Turmi Full Day Round Tribal Tour Activities
Turmi - Drive to Nyangatom, Kara village, and Turmi activities
After breakfast, drive to Nyangatom and Kara Village, home to the Kara tribe. The Kara people reside along the east banks of the Omo River and are known for their large villages and the traditional face and body painting by the children. After the visit, return to Turmi for a lunch break. In the afternoon, if fortunate, witness a unique event called bull jumping, a ceremony where a boy is declared a “man” after jumping over 5 to 13 cattle standing in a row. Alternatively, if there is no bull jumping, visit a Hamer village in the afternoon. At night, enjoy a vibrant party with the Evan Gady dance, also known as the night dance.
Turmi Drive to Dassanech and Drive to Jinka
From Jinka Drive to Mursi Tribe then Back to Jinka for a Flight Back to Addis Ababa
Mursi & Mago National Park - Drive to Mursi village and fly back to Addis
Early in the morning, drive to the Mursi village, where you can observe the unique traditions of this minority tribe living in the Lower Omo Valley. The women of the Mursi tribe are known for wearing large clay plates in their lips as a form of decoration, while the men are known for painting different patterns on their bodies. After the visit, return to Jinka for a lunch break and then depart for Addis Ababa at 13:10, arriving at 14:20.
