Into the Heart of Addo: A Day with Giants

The sun had barely risen when I found myself in the back of a sturdy VW truck, the air crisp and filled with the promise of adventure. Our guide, Riaan, was a man whose passion for the wild was as palpable as the African sun. His eyes, sharp as a hawk’s, scanned the horizon as we entered the vast expanse of Addo Elephant National Park.
