Stunning landscape. A must see - The staff on this trip were knowledgeable and you could tell they loved their job. Nothing was too difficult and they went out of their way to make sure you are ok as it gets very hot out there.

A magical day in Katherine - This tour was absolutely magical—Katherine Gorge is breathtaking, and the boat cruise through its calm, towering cliffs was unforgettable. I especially appreciated the walk between the gorges, which added a deeper connection to the landscape. Lunch was lovely, served in a peaceful outdoor setting that matched the pace of the day. While there was no swimming at Edith Falls, the scenery was still beautiful. The day took a tragic turn on the return to Darwin, as we came across a fatal accident. Our guide Libby handled the situation with remarkable professionalism and care. Her calm presence made all the difference in a very difficult moment. Despite the heartbreaking end, this was a powerful and memorable experience—for both the natural beauty and the humanity behind it.

A great tour - We took this tour recently and had a great day. It is a long day but the transport is quite comfortable. Katherine Gorge is spectacular!! Photos do not do it justice, you have to see it to appreciate the scale and beauty. Unfortunately we were not able to swim at Edith Falls due to possible crocodile danger, however the view was amazing. Lunch provided was delicious and abundant in a comfortable setting. The Adelaide River war cemetery is a poignant and serene stop on the tour too. The care and dedication in maintaining this area is evident and well worth visiting. Lastly, our tour guide Libby was a lovely, informative lady who entertained us with her knowledge of the area. Libby did a awesome job driving us all day, making sure we were comfortable. Our trip back was delayed by unforeseen circumstances that were out of her control but Libby handled everything professionally and did an exceptional job in getting us all home safely. Thank you so much for a wonderful tour!

Well worth the travel time - Did this trip solo as here for work and was really impressed with the whole day. Our AAT guide and driver Mel was such a relaxed and friendly lady, very professional and made the trip easy. Stopped for a brief time at Edith Falls to cool off and had a lovely lunch at Katherine Gorge. The Gorge itself was fantastic. Peaceful and colourful. Our boat guide Landon? was super impressive with his knowledge and Dream Time stories. On the way home stopped at Adelaide River pub for a quick meal (extra cost) A fun atmospheric very Aussie pub. A big day but worth it.

An awesome experience in the outback. - We had a wonderful long day, first stopping at the beautifully kept Adelaide River War memorial, then to Edith Falls which was pretty and many of our tour group went into the natural pool, through Katherine which was so much bigger then I first thought. After arriving at the gorge we went aboard the boat and out into the beautiful gorge. Natures gift. We did two boat rides on 2 gorges with full commentary. Walking a short distance between both. Our bus tour driver was competent and very knowledgeable, felt quite safe in his capable hands.

Long day - I have mixed feelings about this day and why I rated it 4 stars AAtKing was a great company. The bus was comfortable and had great AC. Their instructions and description was spot on. The tour was from 6:00am-9:00pm. We spent a short time at a War Cemetery. Was okay. We got an hour at the water hole to swim and loved that. Then 2 hour boat cruise. So a long day for 3 hours of fun. So keep that in mind. I feel bad saying this but our tour guide talked too much. I felt like silence made her uncomfortable. 2/3 into the day someone went to the front of the bus and asked her to turn down her mic so they could have quiet. After that it was better and got some great music the last hour home. She seemed a little grumpy but was a nice lady. So a long day. I am happy I saw it but was just an okay day. Nothing the tour group did just a long day for 3 hours which I knew about before I went, so I can not complain. All in all I am happy I went.

Glorious Gorge - This trip is a big day but the bus is comfy and our driver Anthony kept us well informed about the areas we were driving through. It was a very hot day and our boat tour was in the afternoon, not the morning as I expected, which meant we visited the Falls in the morning, this was still lovely but I was very hot and sticky after the Gorge visit as it includes a bit of a walk, we did visit in October though so thats to be expected. Lunch was nice, but thought there could have been some bush tucker in the mix. Overall we had an enjoyable day, Anthony got us around nice and safe and the Gorge and Falls are delightful.

Disappointing, but worthwhile - 41deg & 85% humidity. An extremely average lunch, with insufficient quantities to cater for the number of travellers. A bloody long day! The bus and tour guide were great. The stop at Adelaide River thoroughly enjoyable and informative. The scenery at Katherine Gorge spectacular. With some tweaking, this would be a great trip. Just a pity that some minor hiccups detracted from the overall enjoyment
