Good - The tour guide was very good and was kept us well informed about the Island but the ferry can run late.

If Kangaroo Island is on your bucket list (as it should be): this tour is so worth it’s money and your time! - I had a great time from the moment I got on the 6:30 bus up until I got dropped off at 22:30. Such knowledgeable and enthousiastic local tour guides and bus drivers (shout out to Dani, who does weekend tours!). Even with the showers we had throughout the day, the locations we were taken to were beautiful and totally worth it. Lunch was very tasty and well-prepared. Because you do go to a couple of locations scattered on the surprisingly big island, there is a strict schedule and you’ll spend quite some time on the bus. However, I didn’t feel rushed whatsoever and all the stories you get on the bus make time fly by. 11/10 would recommend!

Remarkable trip to Kangaroo Island - Early rise by luxury coach to catch ferry to Kangaroo Island where island coach and driver/tour guide took over. Excellent commentary throughout visit to; Remarkable Rocks, sea life beach, wildlife sanctuary, tasty lunch. Long day but well worth it. Have a snooze on bus after ferry 😉

Just do it! - Our guide, Richard, was so informative and really made this tour. Even though it is a long day, Richard’s commentary made the time fly by. Well spaced stops. Highly recommend if you only have one day to see Kangaroo Island.

Pick up spot in Adelaide needs to be clear (where in the bus station) - Pick up area instructions need to be more clear and should have a tour organizer 's contact number. The street number differing on the bus station and also need to mention the waiting area, whether inside the station and where in the station .

Recommend! But tough for vegetarians - Overall highly recommended if you don’t have a lot of time but want to experience the highlights of the island! It’s a very very long day but definitely worth it if you’ve only got a day. My big caveat is for vegetarians. We knew lunch would be provided and it was, but it was a chicken salad with chicken removed. There’s a huge difference between lunch with filling protein and lunch without, so we were already much hungrier than the meat eaters. Making matters way worse, there were virtually no opportunities to buy food and by 7pm when we were all back at the ferry the one option was the bare bones cafe that had almost exclusively meat options (there was one fruit salad which we shared). 16 hours with a vegetable salad and a fruit salad to sustain you isn’t remotely enough; we wound up at Hungry Jack’s in Adelaide along with the other vegetarians at 10pm, haha. This feels like a big issue and one anyone with dietary restrictions should be aware of in advance! Definitely pack sandwiches and other hearty things with protein or you will be very hungry and grumpy.

A long day but worth it - Long day but worth it. Enjoyed the sights with driver Dave's great commentary. Loved seeing kangaroos and a koala in the wild. At Seal Bay we needed to be in smaller groups. We were a group of 35 and most missed out on the commentary. Lunch was a let down. A mound of lettuce with 3 slices of chicken with bread and mass produced cake slices served in a soulless barn. The visit with the Joey was fabulous. The wildlife park visit was good for kids.

Time spent at each... - Time spent at each attractions too short compared to time spent to get to each location of a few hours

Expensive and many hours on a bus! - Way too many hours traveling for the few short stops. The bus from the ferry back to Adelaide was so cold. 🥶 people had hat and coats on. Which I hadn’t brought with me. I asked the driver to turn down the AC which he did. But then turned it back on. I can’t begin to say how cold we were. Also, bring food! When you have to be on the bus at 6:30am there is no time for breakfast. Lunch, although good was salad. And dinner was a stop at an IGA. Getting back at 10:30 pm requires better food. Stopping at IGA for chips is not dinner. Would not recommend this trip to anyone. The positive was the guide on the island was very good!
