A lovely day - I loved it. The programme was excellent in both content and pacing. The bus driver/guide was informative, relaxed and friendly, with clear explanations and instructions. The lunch was remarkably good, considerably better than I had expected, and the scenery, both on the cruise and from the bus, was gorgeous. It is not cheap but I think eminently good value.

Lazy river cruise - Great trip - very well organised. Comfortable air conditioned transport and with Pete our extremely knowledgeable entertaining driver. Food on board the boat was very good and a well stocked bar. Staff on the ship were superb.

Day out from Adelaide. - Lunch on the Proud Mary as part of a day's coach trip from Adelaide. Very gentle two hours going up the river. Excellent quality lunch and lovely staff. Some nice and well priced shops in Mannum. We also stopped at a chocolate factory and cheese maker. The former was expensive and not in production. Cheese tasting was excellent.

A cold and wet day out. Not enjoyable at all ! - The Murray River lunch cruise was great. However the trip to get both there and back was terrible. The bus driver had to have the air conditioning on freezing to try to stop the windows from fogging up. Then to top it off the bus was leaking in several places causing us to not only be cold but eet also.. Not the kind of journey we had looked forward too.

More time was spent on a bus than a boat - Organisationally everything went smoothly. The coach driver spent most of his time talking about other drivers and their bad habits. Commenting on cyclists he was passing and what vehicles were in front of us. Pointless. He had a large forward facing window, those of us further back couldn’t see this anyway. On arrival Mannum we were asked to use the public toilets !!! “ the boat Captain prefers it ?? The boat access was good and it was clean and tidy. The coffee machine was broken so the welcoming brew took ages whilst everyone did it by hand. Lunch onboard was good but some of the pensioners were very focussed on keeping “their” seats 🙄. The cruise seemed to pass very quickly and unremarkable- we were back to the bus. Out of Mannm to visit a look out point and then back into Mannum. It gave the impression of being out of season, many shops were closed. Then as we were leaving , the youngest group member collapsed in a shop - the same person that had knocked back lots of wine on the cruise section 🤷🏽. Once she had been half carried onboard we were off again . On the way to a chocolate factory we were asked to speak up if we were uncomfortable with the speed on the country roads !! Chocolate factory done , we headed back to the City more comments on roads, drivers, speed limits ……..

Unimpressed. - Very disappointed with this booking. I had booked a tour that was promised as the "Proud Mary" Murray River cruise. However when we arrived to the marina we were greeted by the "Captain Proud" - a totally different boat. When we spoke with our bus driver he said that the Proud Mary doesn't run between Christmas & New Years (something that is not listed on the activity profile). The activity details also state a buffet lunch, however we were offered a menu to order from. I ordered the burrito salad with meat added, and my mother had the chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce. My salad was lackluster and the sauce on the schnitzel was extremely thick. We were then supposed to be able to explore Mannum, and visit Melba's Chocolate Shop. Unfortunately our bus broke down so we didn't get to Melba's. We waited for 30 minutes for a new bus, but based on what they told us even if our bus didn't break down we wouldn't have been able to get to Melba's before it closed at 4pm. Doesn't seem like we got what we were promised.
