• Travel south to the historic town of Hahndorf, where parking is available at the bakery for coffee, tea, and scones. Enjoy 30 minutes of free time to explore the main street, with opportunities to view art, crafts, and souvenirs.
• After regrouping, proceed to the first wine tasting at Nepenthe Cellar Door, sampling the crisp white wines of Adelaide Hills, followed by a visit to Shaw & Smith for their excellent Pinot and crisp white wines.
• Next, head towards Tanunda, a 65-minute drive directly to “Chateau Tanunda.”
• Chateau Tanunda, a landmark winery and once the largest building in South Australia, is renowned for its Barossa wines and has won awards for decades. The package includes a “Premium Wine Tasting” with a private host, featuring the famous “Everest Shiraz,” complemented by a cheese board and crackers.
• Conclude the tastings at Seppeltsfield Winery.
• The tour includes food, with lunch at one venue and a cheese board with crackers at the winery, making the two-course lunch a perfect fit for the 8-9 hour tour.
• Return to Adelaide around 6:30 pm.
