Best Value! Best Experience! - I cannot say enough good things about the professionalism, knowledge and ease of booking with this company!!! Our driver Daniel was so laid back and with us every step of the way making sure we were comfortable and safe! He was truly a pleasure and even gave us some history about some of the areas that we passed by on the way to our excursion. If you want quality tours, affordable prices and reliable services please book right now!!!! Tips for the excursions: pack your favorite light snacks or breakfast bars. We did stop for snacks on each excursion but I found it hard to find breakfast items that were quick and on the go, we traveled from the US. There are NO breakfast sandwiches that I’ve seen in Ghana (bacon, egg and cheese croissants, sausage biscuits, bagels and cream cheese), no prepackaged granola bars, so you’ll want to visit a ShopRite grocery store in the area to buy foods to have for early morning activities or bring them from wherever you’re traveling from. Water and fun was provided!!! Get your camera and video settings prepared once you book because the memories will be priceless!!

A great experience, glad we did it. - You have to be mobile and it does require some steep climbing. The views are beautiful in the mountains and on the lake and we learned a lot. The guides were great.

Connecting woodlands and water - This was a wonderful combo tour. Whether you feel a connection to nature or are an aquaphile (drawn to water), it fits the bill. The boat ride concluded a serene day trip. The guides were great too. Highly recommended.

Very professional tour with an amazing guide - Of all the tours I’ve had in Ghana, Expedition Go has been the most professional. Not only are they extremely accommodating and flexible, they take the renowned Ghanaian hospitality to another level. What I really enjoyed is you can also ask them non-tour related questions and they always have the answers. If Ghana is Africa for beginners, then let these guides hold your hand and show you what this country has to offer.

Great day trip from Accra without too much car time - It was a great day trip out of Accra without spending too much time in the car and still getting out in the nature. The boat cruise was fantastic and Emanuel was a great tour guide! He was a fun time, great playlist, excellent driver, and it was fun to connect with a local guide. Would def recommend for a fun day outside of the city without over exerting yourself.

Beautiful day with added extras - I was a bit hesitant about booking this tour but I’m so glad I did. It was a really great day that is a good balance of activity with the short hike and climb using the ropes, beautiful nature from seeing the animals and then the boat ride was a great end to the day. I even got to ride the boat myself. The thing that made the trip particularly special was my tour guide Peter. He went above and beyond to make the day a great experience for our group. I was a solo traveller and Peter took lots of great pictures for me. It was also my birthday and he added an extra stop that was not part of the itinerary to a cocoa farm as well as a viewpoint to see the whole of Accra. He was an incredible guide and I’m so grateful for the amazing day he made it. I would recommend others to book this tour.

Touring the countryside - We did not do this trip because of the rain but other options were substituted and the trip was great. We covered a lot of ground and the trip took longer than expected but the scenery was marvelous.

Learning about Ghana's nature and history - Peter was an excellent, smart, and attentive guide that knows the areas and other routes in case of a traffic jam. He taught us a lot about the city and helped us understand how to get around on our own. The Shai Hills reserve was most interesting, but don't expect a full Safari, expect maybe 5 or 6 animals in the wild and education about the Shai Hill preserve. Wear tennis shoes or hiking boots because you want to climb the rock mountain and get that perfect view. The river boat ride was beautiful and calm. Be prepared for very rough Ghanaian roads to get to both locations. The government has not consistently maintained the roads.
