Nice thing to have done once! - Quite a walk on the camel, to the river with Flamingos. Unfortunately it was cloudy (which it often is by the sea in Agadir at this time of year), so not a nice sunset. It was fun and playful that 3 young camels were allowed to walk with the mothers. We met many other groups on camels on the route. Then together with the group bbq with couscous eaten, as much as we wanted. Simple but delicious! Pick up and drop off was punctual and neatly arranged.

Agadir sunset camel ride & BBQ - Went with my partner as part of a larger group on several camels for the sunset ride. We saw wild flamingos by the water and plenty of other interesting sights along the way. You do need to hang on tight when they are getting up from and going down to the ground but they are quite stable when you are up and they are walking about - you can even go handsfree when on level ground to take pictures/videos if you feel comfortable enough, but be careful and aware of the upcoming terrain if choosing to do this, of course! We also saw other groups on the route and there were children riding with an adult so it seems suitable for all ages After the ride we returned for the barbecue back at the family’s residence which was served promptly and was delicious. There was an open pit fire too, not that it was cold out in October. The business is family run which made the experience all the more special and meaningful and being at the family’s residence really gives an insight into the way of life outside of the cities of Morocco. The hospitality was amazing and we even got to try on some traditional clothing and headscarf’s! Excellent value for money & highly recommend the experience

Great evening, very warm! - After booking several weeks in advance we received a confirmation via WhatsApp in the day so no stress, the driver super on time at the hotel and very friendly, the dromedary companion very nice, we saw the pink flamingos 👌🏻; we did not know what to expect for the barbecue, it was incredible we found ourselves welcomed in a Berber house for a delicious dinner meat and couscous around a fire in a very warm Mood

This was not as expected - The surroundings and nature were completely different from the pictures. Instead of deserts and sand dunes, we wandered through fillings and garbage. The food afterwards was of the simplest sort. What was supposed to be guiding was completely absent. All the way up to feeling deceived.

Poorly organised approach - We had an unpleasant screaming gesticulating man leading our carriage. Our tour ended for some inscrutable reason in advance already after 1 hour even though we paid for 2 hours of riding + food. Avoid being two people on the same animal. Whoever sits behind has it really uncomfortable and difficult to hold on. When another participant in our group did not have money to tip his camel-keeper, he became rude and basically forced her friend to tip him instead. When it came time to go home there was no vehicle or driver waiting to take us back, we had to wait until another group had finished eating and go with them. Poorly organized setup and boring food. Choose another experience.

Poor camels - It’s a shame I have to write this review as the bbq at the Berber house was lovely. But the treatment of the camels was awful. They were chained really tightly to each other (2-3inches), unlike the metre shown in the photos. When one stopped, their necks bent and they cried out in pain. The kids cried and everyone on the tour was upset. At the end of the tour, they were chained to rocks with only a foot or two of movement. These gorgeous docile animals deserve better.
