Nice - Nice activity and super nice people, location could have been slightly nicer but it was as good as it gets given the area. Food was okay and they take photos which you can buy if you want.

Great experience 😀 - What an unforgettable experience. It is something I shant forget soon. The camels were feisty little things they were. They made for an excellent riding pal. The barbecue was to die for. After a long trek in the sun, having a delicious meal waiting for us was an immaculate experience.

Put mosquito spray on! I... - Put mosquito spray on! I got a couple of bites whilst on the camel ride. I wore trousers, a light long sleeved jumper and light jacket on the 17:05 ride and I was perfectly comfortable. The taxi driver was awesome, he arrived early and ask for us by name. We drove about 10 minutes before seeing two camels of the road in a desolute field with a guy. The taxi driver shouted to the man with the camels and then told us to go to him. Not quite what we were expecting but we went over. The lovely guy gave us morrocan names and got us up onto the camels. We started back upto the road, along it and then over into more deserts like fields. It was not the most scenic route but offered a true look at Moroccan life and the mountains on the way back. We saw some kids playing football as we neared the Morrocan kings palace. We cut our journey short before we saw the river. We arrived at a shopping centre where we washed our hands and went into a fabulous restaurant. We were firstly served water, followed by couscous, chicken and vegetables then lamb kebabs, sausages and more delicious chicken and fruit. 😋 we were a bit unsure of what to do next so waited outside for a bit before going back into the centre where another lovely guy took us back to the restaurant and explained that our taxi was on the way. It arrived and we got back to the hotel having had a really nice experience 😌 A massive thanks to all the guys!

While it was a really... - While it was a really cool experience to ride a camel I would recommend finding a different company. The views were not good, the tour was very disorganized with very little communication, and there was an “extra” stop at an oil production shop that included a presentation and sales pitch that was not included in the description. Be prepared for the guides to demand tips for taking pictures with your phone. The BBQ was good food that consisted of different chicken dishes.

Was never taken to BBQ. - Camel ride was fine. Just know that this is a fairly urban setting. We never got the BBQ. The whole event was conducted in a disorganized and disjointed fashion.

Not good! - This was not good at all! We booked no BBQ just camel ride as we had a baby with us wanted to get home in time for her bedtime. During the camel ride our tour guide was throwing rocks at other guides and my child was getting scared. When told to stop as she was getting scared cause she never witnessed violence like this he kept saying it’s okay and carried on. After the camel ride we told the man where is our taxi we need to go home we didn’t book bbq. We could see them all speaking Arabic loudly to one another - looks like they mixed the group up and put us on the taxi with the family who chose to have a bbq. So for 1 hour 30 mins they made us wait and forced us to roam around the market and making us buy things. They kept guilt tripping us saying the local traders don’t have much and our spending will help them feed their families. My child nappy leaked and there was no baby changing place and we kept asking where is our taxi he kept saying 5 mins for 1hr 30 minutes. I then realised they were trying to distract us and wait till the bbq lot were done and then bought us out to take us home. They did not offer us any food or anything. I kept repeating my child needs to eat and change of clothes as she soaking wet he kept saying it’s okay and taking my husband to the shops persuading him to buy more. It wasn’t the greatest! The camel riding was not the best they take you through landfills which are filled with rubbish not great scenery.

Poor Camel Treatment - We booked the Camel Ride (1 camel per person, no BBQ), and unfortunately, it was one of the saddest experiences we've ever had. The worst part was the treatment of the camels. Reviews mentioned they were well cared for, but that was not our experience. The camels were tightly connected by short ropes. My camel’s face was pressed against the one in front, forcing its head sideways, making it visibly uncomfortable. It struggled for half the trip, and despite flagging this to the guide at the start, I was told it was "normal" to prevent biting, but it still didn't feel right. To make matters worse, my camel’s position made it unsteady, and when we reached the road, it was walking sideways in the middle. The guide noticed this, and once we got back on the dirt track, he PUNCHED my camel in the neck before adjusting the rope. Everyone in our group saw this. After the rope was fixed, the ride felt less stressful, but the experience was already ruined. Also, another con was the route wasn’t very scenic—mostly road and dirt tracks—until reaching the riverbank for photos, before heading back the same way. While there were some positives, the poor treatment of the camels outweighed everything. I would not recommend this experience. Pros: Quick and responsive messaging. The guide and other staff were very friendly to us. The guide took photos of us during the ride. Taxi pickup was on time, and they accommodated a different drop-off location. Mint tea and cookies were offered at the end.
