Amazing trip - Very capable, considerate driver ensured we saw all the key sites in the fabulous anti-atlas mountains. Stunning views.

Tremendous time - Had a tremendous time on a private tour with Abdell through the Anti-Atlas back in early April. Went to Tafroute on a spectacular mountainous road. Had lunch in Tafroute and explored a bit of the town before checking out some of the rock formations in the surrounding area. Came back via Tiznit where we looked around the Old Medina. Lots of freedom to stop wherever we wanted. Would definitely recommend.

Great day trip to Tafraout - Fantastic day out! Wonderful views and lots of information from our guide Nourdine. He has a lot of knowledge about the area and took us us to a lovely place for a Berber lunch. Would recommend this tour to everyone.

A Breathtaking Trip Through the Anti Atlas with Panoramic Views at Every Turn - This was the most expensive tour on my holiday but it was worth every penny. Having a private tour with driver and guide means you can stop anywhere and as often as you like to take photos. It also means that the guide isn’t having to toggle between different languages. The scenery in the Anti Atlas was breathtaking and the small town of Tafraout a nice terminus. At this point I was offered the choice of returning by the same route or going the long way via Tiznit. I chose the latter but beware of this choice if you are easily bored on long car journeys. The mountains gave way to endless valleys with small Berber villages and then to the long drive back through the flat plains south of Agadir. The next day I went on a safari trip and the drive was made much less monotonous by the great music that our driver guide played on his phone. On my private tour by contrast, the driver and guide just chatted between themselves and this would be my only complaint. But it really filled in my mental map of the part of Southern Morocco and I recommend to anyone who loves looking at extraordinary geology.

Long distance but worth travelling for! - We really enjoyed heading away from touristy Agadir and seeing something of the real Morocco. Even the outskirts of the city was something to behold with it's traditional dusty, red buildings and old men with their donkey and carts. Our driver, Nordine had arrived punctually at 8 a.m, his English is fairly fluent and he's passionate about his country and it's heritage. Nordine was a very competent driver, which was reassuring when we were stuck behind a lorry carrying stone as we ascended into the Anti Atlas Mountains. We were driving through foggy conditions but he chose his moment perfectly to overtake! The car is very comfortable, the air con wasn't able to function; but we were happy with the windows open in the glorious Moroccan sun. We were due to also have a visit to Iznit included in our itinerary, but Nordine suggested that we omit that and instead focus more on the natural areas. We drove back a different route from Tafraout (where we'd had lunch at a suggested restaurant) and we think that he had hoped to show us the climbing goats.....but they weren't playing ball! We certainly saw lots of nomads with both herds of sheep and the cutest donkeys!! Personally I was a bit disappointed not to have seen the other town, but that's probably being a female and thinking of shopping opportunities ;) We returned to our hotel (shrouded in fog) at 5 p.m and were so pleased to have enjoyed an enlightening day away up in the mountains.

Plan carefully - Ensure you consider the time length of this trip, for us it was 8 hours. The drive wasn’t very friendly, and it felt very rushed. The trip didn’t run to the advertised program. Overall we were pleased with our day but it could have been much better.
