Wonderful Family Evening in Agafay Desert - Today we went on an Agafay Desert dinner and camel ride experience as a family (2 adults, a 5-year-old, and a 10-month-old), and we really enjoyed it. It was definitely good value for money and time well spent. Our guide and coordinator, Khadija El Bahi, contacted us in advance and shared the pickup details. Fortunately, the pickup point was right next to our hotel in Marrakech city centre, which was very convenient. Pickup was on time, and the drive to the Agafay Desert took about 45 minutes. We stopped at an argan oil production area for a short break, where we were offered tea and light snacks. The Agafay Desert itself is not a sandy desert but a rocky, mountainous landscape, which was still very beautiful and unique. The camel ride was a highlight for us, especially since it was our first time. Although it lasted around 10 minutes, it felt sufficient for the experience, especially with young children. There were also quad bike rides available, but we chose not to participate as we were traveling with an infant. Afterward, we were served a three-course meal, followed by music and a night show with the Atlas Mountains in the background, which made the experience even more special. Overall, we spent about 5 hours on this trip and were very satisfied. The only downside was that the transport vehicle was not air-conditioned, even though it was mentioned in the booking. This made the journey to the desert a bit uncomfortable, especially during the day. The return journey was fine due to the cooler night temperature. A special mention to Khadija El Bahi, who was very helpful and attentive throughout, making sure everyone was comfortable and well taken care of. Overall, a very positive experience, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to spend a few relaxing hours away from the busy city of Marrakech.

Great excursion. - Great day, Kate. Thank you to Khadija El Bahi for accompanying us on our excursion. Khadija is very friendly, smiling and speaks the different languages correctly. Thank you very much and bone continuation. All this makes us want to try this experiment again.

Experience that can not miss... highly recommended. - Beautiful experience, from the transfer with stop to the farm producing Hargan oil with mini tour and tasting, to the beautiful oasis with camel ride, typical dinner and final fire show. I did this tour with my wife and our three daughters who had a great time, I highly recommend it to everyone especially to families with children even young.

Great tour but beware of tour details - The tour actually starts with pickup at 4pm and is a small group tour but it was an amazing experience. Hassan was a great driver and was very helpful. The camel ride was the best part of the evening.

Agafay Desert with amazing Hasan - We had a fantastic experience with Hasan, who was both our driver and guide for our trip to the Agafay Desert. From start to finish, he was a true professional — the pick-up and drop-off were perfectly on time, and communication was smooth and reliable throughout. Hasan is genuinely an amazing person (a kind human being) very caring, friendly, and attentive, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. His calm and welcoming nature really made the whole experience feel special and stress-free. The half-day desert adventure was wonderful. We enjoyed a short camel ride (we only wish it could have been a bit longer!), and we were pleasantly surprised by the included three-course meal, which was absolutely delicious. The staff served everything with great care and attention, and the chicken tagine in particular exceeded our expectations — it was truly outstanding. To top it all off, we watched the fire show, which was a perfect ending to an unforgettable experience. We honestly loved the whole adventure and would highly recommend Hasan to anyone visiting Morocco and looking for a reliable, professional, and kind guide.

Atafay desert experience with food a fire show - It is a wonderful way to spend an evening. The guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The food and the show were first class and she organised everything for us including organising restaurant tables and the camel ride. We just had to follow her guidance for a truly stress free and exciting experience. Would recommend this trip to anyone

Great time, the drive out... - Great time, the drive out to the desert is roughly an hour, but well worth it! Camels were very cool and the show at the end was incredible. Very fun trip with a group or with just two.

Amazing tour and guide, camel ride was ethically challenging - Fantastic tour guide, great communication on the tour side. The desert party was fun, the music and fire show were both easy and didn’t drag on too long. We got back to Marrakech at a reasonable time, so this activity was great value for the cost. HOWEVER. If you are sensitive to animal ethics, the camel ride may not be for you. They were tied very closely together, the one behind you has his face tied to your saddle :/ the plus side is that the ride was only 10min.

Amazing experience - Great! Amazing value! Transport to & from desert. All staff friendly & spoke good English. Stopped on way for tea/bread/dips & oil making demo. 45 mins guided quad biking (hair nets & helmets supplied) & felt safe…fun! 20 mins camel ride at sunset. 3 course delicious meal with water & local music, fire eating & fire show! A truly memorable experience that made our Moroccan holiday even better.
