5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - It was a wonderful excursion: first we visited an olive oil factory where we were explained how olive oil is produced and there was also an olive oil tasting. Totally interesting!!! Then it was on to the town of Agios Nikolaos where we had some free time, beautiful! Then we went on to the Amazonas Park where you could learn a lot about the history of the park and see the animals. All in all it was a wonderful trip, you had enough information and free time and I can only recommend it to everyone!

Beautiful trip with animal feeding - For us this was a very nice trip with an air-conditioned coach and a German-speaking guide. First we went to an olive factory including a guided tour and tasting. Then we continue to Agios Nikolaos. It is a small idyllic place or rather a small town. On that day there was also a traditional weekly market with fruit/vegetables and lots of clothes. The most impressive thing about the tour was clearly Amazon Park. This is very lovingly designed and a lot of attention is paid to keeping the animals species-appropriate. We even got to feed the monkeys.

Beautiful excursion on a sunny October day - A nice day trip. We were picked up from the hotel at 8:20 am and were the last to board. Fortunately, some others had to get up before 6:00 a.m. as the total of 49 fellow passengers had to be picked up from several hotels. By bus we went via the national road and on the way back also via smaller roads, to the mentioned places. In both cases, there was time to explore the places or even eat my trifle. In the afternoon we went to Amazonas Park. The rather small park for colorful parrots and exotic monkeys was especially fun for the children. The return trip was without any problems the tour guide top! Thank you for the nice trip.

Very nice drive to the east - Recommended. A nice drive with a visit to an olive factory. And the mountain village of Kritzi with the town of Napoli.

Only free time, no real information - Absolutely not recommended! 11-hour excursion without significant information. You are picked up at the hotel at 8:00 in the morning and then drive around the area without any information to pick up more people. Must then still change the bus to then drive through the area again without greeting and information. Only when all passengers were collected did the first greeting by the tour guide, after 1.5 hours. Then we went straight to an olive oil factory, where we talked briefly about olive oil production. Nothing of the promised panoramic view of a monastery was to be seen and was not mentioned. Afterwards there was a “tasting” of olive oil, which was mainly aimed at buying something locally. Not very informative. Then we went to Agios Nikolaos, where we were left to our own devices for 2.5 hours without any information. Then we went to the small village Kritsa by having 1.5 hours stay again without a guide. I wondered what we paid so much money for when you're just driven there by bus and then left to your own devices. On a guided excursion I expect not only time at leisure, then I can also go out on my own, but also a guided tour at the respective location. I have already done some excursions on other islands that were much better organized. The only highlight was the visit to Amazonas Park. The park is really great and it's a real experience to feed the lemurs, so be sure to buy salad for food. Overall, I can definitely not recommend this trip, because you can have it on your own with a rental car much cheaper and with exactly the same information. You're just left alone and abandoned everywhere. A wasted day of vacation. Very disappointing!
