Beautiful trip - Amazing views and Dennis, the captain, was funny and entertaining. Even though we only saw one caretta it was a perfect trip.

Funny tour - Denis was very good and funny captain. When we lost the turtle from our sight he tried again and again to find another. He was kind to the kids, joking and telling us some facts about things we saw.

Super short trip at a fair price!! - Pick-up worked great with the list of hotels not quite matching the actual pick-up area, but could easily be reorganized by phone.
The trip kept everything promised - the highlight was the first swim stop in a quiet bay. The second stop was at a much too crowded beach for which the organizer of course can't do anything, is just high season.
Big praise to the guide Dennis who accompanied us super with his easygoing, humorous manner.

There were about 15 of us... - We were about fifteen on board the boat, experience described faithful to the excursion lived. We were able to see a turtle. Both stops were beautiful. For the price, it's definitely worth it. The staff was super friendly.

Best of Zante Boat Trips Laganas - Well we enjoyed it!! I have seen some very mixed reviews about the Best of Zante boat trips. This was our experience. My daughter found them on Get Your Guide website. Price was reasonable and they arranged to pick us up from Kalamaki. A very professional young lady drove us in an aircondtioned large taxi to the port.
Laganas Port is always very busy due to the popularity of boat trips and there was a bit of waiting with large crowds for the boats.
Once on board, however the staff were very entertaining, and offered drinks, food and regular information about the trip. The driver/pilot took us to several locations to spot turtles, and then on to the Keri Caves where there was a swim break. We then travelled on to Turtle Island where there was a beach stop for about an hour. We also stopped at Cameo Island but stayed on the boat and congratulated a couple who were getting married there.
The staff engaged with everyone on the boat and made a special announcement for a young girl who had birthday that day.
Overall very good trip, plenty to see and very helpful staff.
Perhaps pick an early morning or late afternoon journey due to temperatures and numbers of people.

Tourist Trap - The trip I booked was advertised as for a max 10 people however I wasn’t surprised after reading the reviews that the boat had over 30 on board.
The trip itself was well organised with pick up from the hotel exactly on time and the trip itself running exactly to the advertised timings.
However it all felt very formulaic, the captain was entertaining but not particularly informative.
The turtle spotting was like a scrum with multiple boats chasing turtles around the bay, crowding them and obviously having to run their engines constantly to prevent hitting the other boats.
This is not a respectful, quiet wildlife spotting opportunity, it felt like the tourist attraction that it was. It left me wondering how many of these beautiful creatures get inadvertently injured each year.
The rest of the trip was pleasant seeing some of the beautiful landscape but always with a crowd of other boats.

I feel bad for the turtles - Unfriendly captain who got mad at us for asking if it was okay to surround and drive after the turtles. he wanted to drive us back to the port beacause of our question.
We didn't get captain Dennis who everyone has been talking good about.
I think this Captains name was Alexander
