In Bateshwar, located on the banks of the Yamuna River, there is a long row of temples, primarily dedicated to Lord Shiva. Some of these temples date back to the 12th century. While many have weathered over time, others remain intact, traditionally said to number 101. The main temple is particularly impressive, adorned with thousands of brass bells that create a harmonious chime when rung together.
