Agra Fort - Agra Fort is a historic fort located in the city of Agra, India. It served as the primary residence for the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638, when the capital was moved from Agra to Delhi. Before being seized by the British, the Marathas were the last Indian rulers to occupy it. In 1983, Agra Fort was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is situated approximately 2.5 km northwest of its more renowned sister monument, the Taj Mahal. The fort is more accurately described as a walled city.

Akbar’s Tomb - Located in Sikandra, this is the tomb of Akbar the Great. The construction was initiated by Akbar and completed by Jahangir.

Itmad-ud-Daula - Also known as the Baby Taj, this monument was built by Noor Jahan for her family members’ graves. The Charbagh pattern is a notable feature of the Baby Taj.

Mehtab Bagh - Mehtab Bagh is situated on the banks of the Yamuna River, directly opposite the back side of the Taj Mahal. There is a myth that Shah Jahan intended to construct another black Taj Mahal on this site.

Taj Mahal - The Taj Mahal, meaning “Crown of the Palaces,” is an ivory-white marble mausoleum located on the south bank of the Yamuna River in Agra, India. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan (who reigned from 1628 to 1658) to house the tomb of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It also contains the tomb of Shah Jahan, the builder. The tomb is the focal point of a 17-hectare (42-acre) complex, which includes a mosque and a guest house, and is set within formal gardens enclosed on three sides by a crenellated wall.
