Amazing guide at the Taj Mahal—smooth entry, sunrise views, rich history, great photos. - Our experience at the Taj Mahal was truly unforgettable — and that was entirely thanks to our incredible guide.
From the very beginning, he went above and beyond by picking us up before we even arrived at the Taj Mahal, ensuring everything was smooth and stress-free. Navigating the crowds there can be overwhelming, but he guided us effortlessly, helping us move quickly and comfortably through the entrance so we arrived exactly in time to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the monument. Seeing the Taj Mahal bathed in the soft morning light was magical — a moment we will never forget.
What made the experience even more special was his deep knowledge and passion. He didn’t just share dates and facts; he told the story behind the Taj Mahal in a way that made its history come alive. From the love story that inspired its creation to the intricate architectural details and symbolism in the marble inlay work, every explanation was engaging, insightful, and easy to understand.
On top of that, he took fantastic photos of us from the best angles and viewpoints — pictures we will treasure forever. He knew exactly where to stand to capture the perfect shots without the crowds in the background.
Professional, knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly organized — we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. If you’re visiting the Taj Mahal, we highly recommend booking with him. He turned a visit into a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Great guide, felt like travelling with a local friend - Praveen was an absolutely great guide, super knowledgeable about Indian history , always friendly and upbeat, honest and pro-active - he arranged everything I needed with thought and care.
For example:
- hotels were full due to the wedding season and VIP visits, so he arranged for nice hotel close to the Taj Mahal, rather than a 5-star hotel where a wedding might have cost me my sleep
- he suggested not wasting my time with the sunrise at the Taj Mahal (crowds; hazy weather, etc); but later changed his mind when the weather forecast cleared up and it was fantastic.
- he Always asked if I wanted to go to any shop; no pressure at all; and he only recommended reputable artisans.
- when VIP traffic closed down Agra and my driver could not bring me to the hotel, Praveen himself took me on the scooter.
Shoutout also to the great driver (Mahesh) that Praveen arranged; very courteous and great service.
Could not have asked for a better experience in Agra. Can recommend wholeheartedly.
I should not that I did not specifically book the photography tour, because Praveen came recommended by a friend, so I booked offline. My pictures are mostly good anyway (even if I look tired at 6:30 in the morning).

Exceptional tour ! - Our tour of the Taj Mahal was truly unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to our incredible guide Praveen. From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organized, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free.
Our guide was extremely friendly and welcoming, which immediately made us feel comfortable. He spoke excellent English, explaining the history and significance of the Taj Mahal in a clear, engaging, and easy-to-understand way. His deep knowledge about the monument, its architecture, and the fascinating love story behind it added so much meaning to our visit.
What really made the tour special was his talent as a photographer. He knew all the best spots and angles and took amazing photos of us that we will treasure forever. He was patient, creative, and made sure we got the perfect shots without feeling rushed.
Overall, this was an outstanding experience. If you are visiting the Taj Mahal, I highly recommend booking a tour like this – especially with a guide who is as professional, knowledgeable, and kind as ours. It made our visit truly exceptional

If you want a stress-free day where you can actually soak in the beauty of the monument without worrying about logistics, Praveen is your man.
* Expert Knowledge: Praveen is an incredible guide. His deep knowledge of the Taj Mahal’s history and architecture added so much depth to the visit. He’s engaging, patient, and answered every question with a smile.
* Professional Photoshoot: Praveen perfectly coordinated a photoshoot with a professional photographer from Trek India Tours. Having a dedicated pro allowed Praveen to focus on the storytelling while the photographer captured stunning, high-quality shots at all the iconic viewpoints. They worked together like a well-oiled machine!
Right from navigating the entrance crowds to finding the best "hidden" vantage points for photos, Praveen made us feel very comfortable. We didn’t have to worry about a thing.
Bottom Line: Praveen’s coordination and the photographer’s talent provided us with both a rich cultural experience and a gallery of breathtaking photos.

Guided through Agea and The Taj Mahal - What a fantastic day in Agra: the Taj Mahal, musical show and speciality shopping led by a top guide Praveen - loads of relevant knowledge, humour and engagement; supported by a wonderful photographer and driver who both went beyond the necessary and expected to provide us all with a truly memorable and fun day.

Taj trip - I cannot recommend Trek India Tours highly enough.
From the initial contact with our guide Praveen, three months prior to our visit, to arriving at our hotel in Agra for our Taj Mahal visit, the service was exemplary.

Best experience - Impeccable guide Praveen, picked up at 6.30am, took us to Taj, photographer was brilliant, photo album for lasting memories and 450+ photos, personal driver throughout . Would highly recommend

Totally Amazing day from start to finish. Praveen was an excellent tout guide. He maintained contact from booking right up t - Excellent trip ! Praveen the guide was amazing from the moment i booked ! The Taj Mahal exceeded all expectations and the whole day was absolutely amazing !

Avoid paying the middleman - Paid $180 to essentially, get introduced to a photographer at the Taj Mahal!! Could have just gone and made my own deal there and saved paying the middleman!! Had a lovely guide that was sent to our hotel and we all got into our car and drove to the Taj Mahal. Our guide was very polite and frowned on the tip he was given after we included him at dinner and paid for everything. Photographer was very nice and overall satisfied but in a hurried stance some pictures came out crooked and not straight but said he would fix. In addition, we also had to pay for the pictures that were over the ones that were included, I believe 30 were included. So negotiations started again!! Paid photographer $100 which my local Indian friends said I got ripped off but at least it wasn’t $1,000 like a previous Mexican family that we heard got taken by another photographer. If you want set plans then I do recommend you use this event but all of this can be accomplished just by standing out front of the Taj Mahal and being swarmed by guides and photographers. Responded very quickly, set guide and photographer up but all of this is at your disposal if you choice to go on your own. I would recommend this venue if you are looking to have something set up in advance but find no need to.
