The driver, Jeetu, was... - The driver, Jeetu, was very considerate, helpful and patient throughout the drive there and back. He really looked after us. The guide, Ehmad, was very informative and made the trip very interesting by telling us stories and showing us carvings/ views that we would not have fully appreciated otherwise. he took the time to take photos of all our group so we could take away memories. We would recommend this trip and definitely the driver and the guide.

Wonderful experience! - Our trip was amazing! Not only was the Taj Mahal beautiful, but Shaan an amazing guide! He made made the trip so easy and handled all of the details.
He also helped us find a great shopping spot and lunch after the tour. 10/10 would recommend.

Best Guide in Agra! - I had a wonderful experience visiting the Taj Mahal with Shaan. He was extremely knowledgeable and attentive to every detail throughout the tour. I highly recommend Shaan if you’re looking for a guide and great pictures in Agra.

It was my intention to... - It was my intention to NOT leave a review at all. But, since the tour company keeps writing to me, asking me to leave a review, here it is…
The tours of the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort were wonderful. The guide was informative, not overbearing, and presented the info that was easy to take in on such a busy trip.
Let’s just say the hotel buffet was pleasant. The food was mostly bland, presumably to accommodate foreigners with varying tastes, but that was to be expected.
Having recently visited an elephant sanctuary, I didn’t want to see another, and I asked the tour guide to ask the driver if we can cut the day short and head back to New Delhi. He was willing to accommodate, but first they made a surprise stop in which I knew nothing about, and here’s where things went bad…
Without giving any notice, we pulled into the parking lot of a rug factory, and the tour guide said he wanted to show me something before we go.
The tour guide and I entered the building, introduced me to the owner, told me that he wanted me to see how rugs are made, and then he ran off, leaving me alone with the factory owner
The owner first showed me how the rugs are made, and then came the relentless sales pitch. I didn’t want to buy a rug. I never even suggested I’d be interested in buying one. And, I certainly didn’t ask to be there. But he wasn’t having it.
He tried and tried, and I wouldn’t budge. This went on for at least 30 minutes. My patience eventually wore out, and I told him that I want to leave immediately.
I was so angry with my tour guide, and was especially disappointed in myself for tipping him handsomely “before” we parted ways. I couldn’t look at him, and barely spoke a word in our remaining time together. I couldn’t even bring myself to thanking him at the end.
What he did was completely unacceptable. Sales pitches and upselling are always expected, but this was more like they drove off the beaten path and held me hostage in a factory. You can’t do this to people.
Sorry, I cannot recommend this company.
