Excellent adventure - Excellent explanation from guide Jareth during transportation and during tours. Driver Nario. Trip to closed cenote with fish, bats and “cleaner” insects - great explanation on types of cenotes, how formed and expected wildlife. Lagoon is outdoor snorkeling, equipment provided. Snack and water in between.

Jareth explained everything that was going to happen at the cenote and lagoon ahead of time. We felt safe. It was great - Nerio was our driver, we felt safe and he picked us up from our hotel on time.. The lagoon had tons of fish. It was a great day

Our driver was punctual... - Our driver was punctual and arrived directly outside of our resort lobby in an easily identifiable uniform. During the transfer, our guide was very knowledgeable and provided us with detailed information of the environments we were going to visit and an explanation of their culture importance. At the inlet, our guide provided us with snorkelling equipment and life jackets. We had plenty of time in the water and we saw hundreds of colourful fish and many impressive rock formations. On our way to the cenote, we were offered cold water, fruit, and granola bars. Like at the inlet, we were provided with like jackets for the cenote. We had the opportunity to explore multiple caves, and learn about the stalagmites, bats, fish, and many other aspects of this impressive underwater ecosystem. Our tour group was very small and we never felt rushed by our guide or driver. This tour is a great way to learn more about Quintana Roo’s culture and environment, and it allows you to visit many areas that are not overly commercialized for tourism.

Wonderful Lagoon and Cenote Experience - We spent the perfect amount of time at the lagoon and the cenote to appreciate the natural beauty. Alex did a great job sharing the history and significance to the Mayan culture. Carlos did a fine job with the Mayan massage ;-)

Give this fun trip a go for sure! - Our driver and guide (Cesar) were right on time picking us up at the Conrad Hotel. We drove a bit to another pickup and switched vans. We met our group and went together to the Yal Ku Lagoon. The walk in was so pretty and the equipment was fine. We had a fabulous time snorkeling in the clear ocean/cenote brackish water and saw a ton of colorful reef fish and really cool rock formations in the crystal clear water. It was a magical experience indeed. Next Cesar packed us up after a snack of fresh fruit and granola bars and we headed to the cenote cave that only Cancun Adventures has access to. It was lovely to swim in the clear (fairly cold) water and glide beneath stalactites and little fruit bats as we swam from room to room in the cave. The set up was clean, eco friendly and professional. The ride into the jungle to the location was bumpy but they did not charge any extra for the Yucatan massage! I would recommend this trip to ALL ages and abilities. It was truly terrific. Thank you to our pleasant driver and our crazy fun leader Cesar!. Gracias!
