The evening begins with a brief drive to the Forest Lagoon geothermal baths, where guests can unwind in the soothing warm waters. Overlooking Eyjafjörður, one of Iceland’s longest fjords, the spa’s exceptional location amidst birch and pine trees makes it truly special. Visitors to the Forest Lagoon will enjoy the stunning views, the peacefulness, and the vibrant energy of Vaðlaskógur, the forest encircling the baths.

In the second part of the tour, our knowledgeable guides will lead you beyond Akureyri to witness one of nature’s most captivating spectacles, the Aurora Borealis, commonly known as the Northern Lights. This winter promises an active display of the Northern Lights, and there are few places better to experience them than in the North near Akureyri.
