He was very knowledgable, kind and made everybody feel very comfortable, relaxed and made sure we were all happy.. The best tour I have been on in all my 50 years travelling!.. Thank you so much to Ziggy for making the experience so unique and special xx

Guided tour of lake Mývatn and Goðafoss Waterfall - Our tour guide really looked after us all and kept us safe! The most amazing Icelandic scenery to experience which we would never have reached without the expert driving skills of our tour guide in very snowy and windy weather. He made us feel very safe and very much looked after during our tour! I would make sure to wear walking shoes or walking boots with a good grip and to make sure to wear warm clothes if needed with the changing Icelandic weather.

5* company - Imagine specialized is small group tours. We were lucky enough on the two tours we took (northern lights and Godafoss waterfall) to have Armann as our tour guide, his knowledge of his country was amazing as were his stories of trolls, elves and Icelandic folklore . The scenery was amazing, craters, caves, snow covered mountains, frozen waterfalls and lakes. With regards to the Northern lights tour, it wasn't particularly good visibility the night we went but Armann has a group of people around the area that he calls on to assess visibility in their area and he is will willing drive to make your night memorable

Thanks Norbert! A great way to see Northern Iceland without a car - This tour was part of a package to Akureyri from the UK, and it was a highlight. There were around 15 of us on the minibus and the trip lasted around 6-7 hours. Our guide Norbert was a funny and friendly guy who told us lots of fascinating facts throughout the day, and we felt safe with him driving around the icy mountain roads - thanks for a great day Norbert! We went to the Goðafoss waterfall for sunrise, the Skútustaðagígar pseudo-craters, Dimmuborgir, Námaskarð geothermal fields, Grjótagjá cave, and even stopped off at the side of the road to feed some Icelandic horses. We were back with plenty of time to eat, drink and rest ahead of the Northern Lights tour, also given by Norbert. The only real downside was that the Mývatn baths were closed until spring 2026 for refurbishment, which wasn't the case when we booked, but that was through no fault of Imagine Iceland, and all of the other activities made up for it. We also had tickets to the Lagoon Spa which helped scratch the geothermal spa itch, though the Akureyri swimming pool would also have been good!

Amazing trip - Our guide was really knowledgeable on all aspects of Iceland and its culture and I personally learned so much about the Island. Unable to do thermal bathing due to closure of the facility but this allowed more time on the other attractions.
