Wonderful tour - A truly awesome tour! The combo tour interspersed with the guides Icelandic knowledge, folk stories of trolls and general cheerful chatterbox made for a wonderful half day tour!

Insightful and Delightful - We were thrilled to find a small mini van as our transportation. Graham was absolutely delightful and had a lot of stories to tell along the way to all of our destinations. The waterfall was of course absolutely stunning. We were able to spend a nice amount of time to enjoy the views and learn about the area. The Laufas were also very interesting. The tour guide there was very insightful and amazing they are still used in the winter time as homes. Who knew you could grow rhubarb on your roof! Have to say the Santa House was a small disappointment. I can see how it would be interesting to some. It was very nice stop. Mostly touristy though. The Advent Calendar in the turret was interesting. And we saw a not so wild bunny with beautiful colors. Nice little shop with homemade goods and some not so homemade. Beautiful Christmas ornaments. Graham did a wonderful job and would recommend The Traveling Viking.

Interesting combo of activities. - Our tour guide was wonderful. He explained everything really well with a sense of humor.. Seeing the turf houses was very interesting. Of course the waterfall was amazing. Christmas house would probably be better during the holiday season. An excellent tour.

Lovely excursion - A lovely excursion from Akuyeri, bus driver Jon was very informative with a good sense of humour. We enjoyed the Godafoss most and had a good time to enjoy it without being rushed. Christmas house not impressed but not bad to end the trip with.

Comedy Helps - Our driver was very informative and quite hilarious! That really lightened it as there’s really not all that much to see – – the Christmas house is definitely just a tourist trap – – but I didn’t mind stopping there because it seems it’s a must do Our driver made it well worth it And I enjoyed this tour considering without it, there wouldn’t be much to do

This is a spectacular Waterfall, and then some. - Graham picked us up as close as he could get to the cruise ships as possible. Very friendly and for not being a "local" knew quite a bit of history. He took us to a very spectacular waterfall so how could you go wrong with that! Perfect host. Have to say the Christmas house was a bit of a disappointment. But then we have been to the North Pole in Alaska and met Santa himself as well as a few other quite famous Christmas Houses in the states. Very nice items in the Christmas house and very nice people. So if you have never been to anything like it you may be impressed. It isn't bad, just we have seen it all and then some elsewhere. Doesn't really matter because the waterfall and the nature more than make up for it and the guide was really a great host.

Missed your departure - We were unable to connect with the tour operator to confirm our pick up location. The tour operator asked for the name of our cruise ship and said they would pick up and drop us off at our ship. We waited in the parking lot as instructed and they never showed up. I had their phone number and tried calling and got no answer. We were informed that they had an office in the parking area next to ours and ran to that spot 5 minutes after our departure time and no one was there.
