At the first stop, visit the magnificent pyramids of the 4th dynasty pharaohs, including the Great Pyramid of King Cheops, the second pyramid of Chephren, and the pyramid of Menkaure. Admire the famous Sphinx statue and the valley temple used for the embalming process.
During your visit to the Giza Pyramids, additional activities are available, such as entering one of the pyramids (extra cost), camel riding (extra cost), or visiting the Solar Boat Museum (extra cost). Your tour guide will offer honest advice and assistance for all these activities.

Great Sphinx - Next, visit The Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren, standing by the vast funeral complex.

Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - The only completely preserved portrait of the king is a three-inch high ivory figurine found in a temple ruin at Abydos in 1903. Other reliefs and statues were found in fragments, and many of Khufu’s buildings are lost. Information about Khufu comes from inscriptions in his necropolis at Giza and later documents, such as the Westcar Papyrus from the 13th dynasty.

Pyramid of Khafre - Khafre’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple revealed several statues of Khafre, discovered in a well in the temple floor by Mariette in 1860, with further finds by Sieglin (1909–10), Junker, and Reisner.

Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex features a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple. The mortuary temple also contained several statues of Menkaure.

Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - At the second stop, visit Sakkara, the ancient burial ground of the pharaohs during the Old Kingdom. This site is renowned for the first pyramid complex ever built in Egypt, dedicated to King Zoser and constructed by the wise architect Imhotep. Here, you will see the step pyramid, papyrus columns, and the remnants of the enclosure wall. Visit one of the carved and painted tombs in the same area of Sakkara at no extra charge.

Memphis and Sakkara - Then, explore Memphis, the oldest capital of ancient Egypt, where you can see the reclining statue of King Ramses II, made from a single piece of limestone weighing 120 tons. Also, view the alabaster statue of the Sphinx, weighing 80 tons, along with other artifacts displayed in the area.
