• Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Khufu’s pyramid complex features a valley temple, now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered, although the site remains unexcavated. The valley temple was linked to a causeway, which was mostly destroyed during the village’s construction.
• Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple revealed several statues of Khafre, with some found in a well in the temple floor by Mariette in 1860. Additional statues were uncovered during later excavations by Sieglin (1909–10), Junker, and Reisner.
• Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex comprises a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple. The mortuary temple also produced several statues of Menkaure.
• Great Sphinx - Visit the Valley Temple where priests mummified the body of King Chephren. Here, you can get a close-up view of the Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren. It’s a perfect spot for taking amazing photos with the Sphinx in various fun poses, with guidance from our tour guide.
• The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - Travel from Giza to Cairo to visit the Egyptian Museum, where you can admire the treasures of King Tutankhamen.
• Old Cairo - Explore Old Cairo, also known as Christian Coptic Cairo, a significant location visited by the Holy Family. Despite their brief stay, the spiritual impact of their presence is still felt. The Church of Abu Serga (St Sergius) was built above a cave where they sought refuge. This area, including the Fort of Babylon, is a pilgrimage destination for Egyptians and Christians worldwide. The district exudes an air of piety and devotion. You can also visit and enter the Church of Abu-Sergah and St. Barbara, the Hanging Church, and the old Jewish synagogue, Ben Ezra Synagogue.
