- Pyramids of Giza - At 8:00 am, guests are picked up from their hotel in Cairo by an expert tour guide and transported to the Giza pyramids in a private, air-conditioned, modern vehicle. The full-day tour begins with a visit to the renowned Giza Pyramids, where visitors can see the Great Pyramid of King Cheops. Enjoy a 20-minute camel ride to immerse in history, followed by a visit to a panoramic spot offering a view of all the pyramids. The tour continues to the Valley Temple, also known as the Mummification Temple, where King Chephren’s body was mummified. Here, guests can get close to the Sphinx statue, and the guide will assist in capturing memorable photos at the best locations.
- Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - The only completely preserved portrait of the king is a three-inch high ivory figurine discovered in a temple ruin from a later period at Abydos in 1903. Other reliefs and statues were found in fragments, and many of Khufu’s buildings are lost. Information about Khufu comes from inscriptions in his necropolis at Giza and later documents, such as the Westcar Papyrus from the 13th dynasty, where Khufu is a central figure.
- Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple revealed several statues of Khafre, some discovered in a well in the temple floor by Mariette in 1860, and others found during later excavations by Sieglin (1909–10), Junker, and Reisner.
- Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex features a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple. The mortuary temple also contained several statues of Menkaure.
- Great Sphinx - The Sphinx, the legendary guardian, stands beside the vast funeral complex with its lion body and the head of King Chephren.
- Gizeh Plateau - The Giza Plateau (Arabic: هضبة الجيزة) is a limestone plateau in Giza, Egypt, home to the Fourth Dynasty Giza pyramid complex, which includes the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, the Great Sphinx, several cemeteries, a workers’ village, and an industrial complex. It is the northernmost part of the 16,000 ha Pyramid Fields on the Western Desert edge of the Nile Valley, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Memphis and its Necropolis.
