Excellent experience - highly recommend - We had a brilliant experience with Golden Travel Egypt and would absolutely recommend them to anyone visiting Cairo.
From the outset, everything was really well organised and easy. Communication was excellent – Ali kept in touch with us via WhatsApp throughout, making sure we were always informed, on time and comfortable, which made the whole experience feel very smooth and stress-free.
Our guide, Ali, was fantastic. He was friendly, approachable and incredibly knowledgeable, bringing each location to life with interesting insights and stories. What really stood out was how he tailored the tour to suit what we wanted to do, rather than it feeling like a standard, fixed itinerary.
The pace was perfect – we never felt rushed, and had plenty of time to enjoy each stop (and take lots of photos!). It felt like a really personalised experience, which made it all the more memorable.
Overall, a truly great experience and one of the highlights of our trip. If you can, I would definitely recommend asking for Ali.

A fabulous day - The vehicle we toured around in is really comfortable.
The guide ( Ali) is really knowledgeable, patient and kind. He took the time to explain everything to us about the day ahead, as well as all the points of interest and all the history everywhere.
The trip included lunch, which was delicious.
All in all, a perfect way to spend a day when in Cairo.

Would recommend this trip. - A very worthwhile and interesting trip, especially the new Museum, highly recommended. Our guide, Salem, was very knowledgeable, friendly and made sure we all had an enjoyable day.

A good tour guide. Recommended - We had a Great visit to this fab new museum. Milad our guide who collected us from our hotel is a keen archaeologist who studied the subject at Cairo university. He is knowledgable and very enthusiastic. Having spent the previous day at the pyramids with a different tour guide company whose rep knew very little about the pyramids the difference was very welcome

Grand day out in more ways than one! - John (our guide) was great.. Very informative and explained things very well... The day was very full but so good, from seeing the Pyramids, the opportunity to learn and visit a papyrus shop as well as learning about pure essences to lunch and the Grand Egyptian Museum... 10/10 and would highly recommend John if you are thinking of doing this tour 👌

Fun packed day with a great guide - From the moment I met John in the hotel lobby at 8am, all the way through till the closing of the GEM, John was helpful, knowledgeable, polite and was always looking out for myself and the other 2 lovely ladies in our group. This is something I’m very happy I have done. If I was to book another guide for a tour, I would ask if John was available. 10/10
