Wadi El Rayan - Spanning an area of 1,759 km², Wadi El-Rayan features 113 km² of prominent water bodies known as the Wadi El Rayan lakes. Located about 65 km southwest of Faiyum city and 80 km west of the Nile River, the valley hosts man-made lakes formed from agricultural drainage, creating a reserve of two distinct Wadi El Rayan Lakes. The reserve includes a 50.90 km² upper lake and a 62.00 km² lower lake, connected by waterfalls. The southern side of the lower lake boasts three sulfur springs and extensive mobile sand dunes. Wadi El Rayan Waterfalls are recognized as the largest in Egypt.
To the south and southeast of the springs lies Gabal Manqueer Al Rayan, home to marine fossils and archaeological remains. Gabal Madwera, near the lower lake, is noted for its expansive dune formations.

Qarun Lake - Lake Qarun, also known as Qarun Pool, is situated in the city of Fayoum in Upper Egypt. Positioned northwest of Beni Suef city and west of the Nile River, it is approximately 50 kilometers away. Located in the Fayoum Governorate, Lake Qarun is one of Egypt’s largest natural lakes.

Valley of the Whales (Wadi Al-Hitan) - Wādī al-Ḥītān, meaning ‘Wadi of the Whales,’ is a paleontological site in the Faiyum Governorate of Egypt, about 150 kilometers (93 miles) southwest of Cairo. In July 2005, it was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its numerous fossils of some of the earliest whale forms, the archaeoceti (an extinct sub-order of whales). The site provides crucial evidence for understanding the evolution of whales from land-based animals to ocean-going mammals.
No other location in the world offers the same number, concentration, and quality of such fossils, nor their accessibility and setting in a beautiful, protected landscape. Consequently, the valley was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2005.
Enjoy sandboarding, the sand dunes, and the Magic Lake in one of Egypt’s top destinations. Conclude the tour with a return drive to your hotel in Cairo.
