Magnificient Houseboat Tour in Alleppey Backwaters - Our trip on the Maniyara Luxury Houseboat in the Alleppey backwaters was an experience of a lifetime. The sights were stunning, particularly the magnificent sunset around Lotus Pond. We were well hosted while taking in the serene splendor of nature. Throughout the trip, Chef Nitin looked after us and served us deliciously made Kerala meals. The boat itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.
We would especially like to thank Sree, the owner, whose customer service went above and beyond. Anyone wishing to enjoy Alleppey's charm in quiet and style should definitely reserve this houseboat tour.

Unforgettable Alleppey Trip with Excellent Tour Arrangements - Our Alleppey houseboat experience was truly beyond expectations! The tour planner from Srees Tours Mr.SreeKumar has made perfect arrangements, and the service on board was very friendly. The boat was luxurious and ideal for a comfortable family stay. Also enjoyed delicious Kerala-style spicy fish prepared just the way we liked. An wonderful and memorable experience overall!

Above and beyond service in beautiful surroundings - Thank you, Sree and crew, for a lovely houseboat stay!
Sree took us on a backwater cruise, during which he took very good photos of us. The houseboat facilities were nice, and quite roomy for 4 adult travelers. There is a covered lounging area downstairs and an upper deck, good for enjoying the sun. All the food is authentic Kerala cuisine and is cooked fresh on board! It was delicious.
The crew helped with every request: from shifting the sleeping arrangements slightly, to helping us purchase fish at a local market, and giving us a fishing rod with bait.
Would recommend for anyone!

Best Kerela tour - Fantastic experience. The waters were very calm and peaceful. The staff on the boat were amazing! They prepared such great authentic and traditional Kerela dishes we really felt welcomed. Worth the upgrade

Wonderful experience in Munnar & Alleppy - Wonderfully efficient and caring staff. We were collected from the airport by the wonderful Sooraj who was so knowledgable and taught us so much. We travelled to Munnar for two nights and then spent a further 2 nights on the most gorgeous houseboats. An unforgettable trip we thoroughly enjoyed.

A relaxing trip on Kerala back waters with a personal chef - The staff was very friendly, and the chef was excellent. The nature on route is gorgeous. There aren't many off-boat activities, so be prepared to be still and enjoy the backcountry.

Great experience not to miss out. - A must do. Serene atmosphere, gently floating along the backwaters. You are literally watching the day go by as you make your way through the equivalent of Venice and their venetian canals. Great opportunity for bird watching. Sunset amazing. Food was hearty if not too much for just 2 people, nevertheless it was delicious.
Bedroom basic, shower isn't the best pretty poor actually so dont exoect much. Air con comes on at night until about 06:00 , you do have a fan. Expect bugs. Found a few on bed. Mattress hard as nails so for comfort it's a Nil.

This is a must to do but have a few nights if you go. It isn't anywhere near as good as Kashima - The house boat we went on was only 2 bedrooms but the night stayover was just relaxing. The river scenery was great and the food was delicious. The bed was nice but as expected the shower was luke warm. Once the AC was worked out the room was nice and cool. We enjoyed the scenery the next morning.We went on a tour the next day to see how coconut was used for milk , rope making and cream

Not so good experience - We selected a premium houseboat through Allepy Houseboat Club. Cost was Rs. 20000/night for a 2-room houseboat.
The staff behaved well. But the quality of the houseboat was not so good, especially the toilets.
Food was just sufficient, nothing more to feel you great.
The biggest thing I was missing is the interaction with the staffs. They were not ready to communicate / interact at all. I understand this may be due to language issue (we were speaking English, Hindi, Bengali and Konkani).
The overall journey was also not very good. Since I lived in Netherlands and Malaysia, I find this backwater trip is much inferior compare to my previous experiences.
I would not suggest to spend such kind of money for an overnight trip.
