The Houseboat Backwater program is perfect for those interested in exploring the finest canals in and around Aleppey. The houseboat embarks on a journey through remarkable rivers and canals, pausing for an hour for lunch. It sails through some of the most picturesque villages in Aleppey like Kainakari Village and Kuttithod, reaching a spot known as Kuttamangalam.
We offer a 1-hour country boat ride to experience the narrow Kuttamangalam canal, which is inaccessible for the houseboat. This short journey showcases the striking beauty of the local village, rice fields and more.
Following the one-hour country boat adventure, the houseboat resumes its course towards its final halting point for the night. The boat anchors between 1730hrs and 1800hrs for an overnight stay.

Relaxing long weekend on Alleppey’s backwaters - We paid for a luxury 2 night cruise (roughly 40 hours). We had a crew of 3, one of whom was an excellent chef who specialised in Kerelan cuisine. The staff were not intrusive at all. We had a/c on in downstairs room and bedroom. There was also an upstairs deck- perfect for sunsets. No other visitors. All very relaxing and beautiful and a great way to enjoys the backwaters, smaller routes and visit small villages. We moored each night in a quiet spot, in tune with nature. We brought our own wine to enhance our evening dining experience.

You thought you knew how to realx........ - Absolute bliss! My wife and I had just finished an exhausting few days in Kochi and from the moment we stepped on the boat the rev counter clocked off. First of all the boat was almost exactly as described, sometimes not the way around these parts. After settling in, which seemed to be dead easy compared to other places we'd flaked out, we were sat down for lunch, which was one of the best vegetarian offerings I've come across. Same high quality of fayre continued thuout. Crew were great, at times up on the poop deck soaking up the rays you literally flet like you were alone, just floating along. And the scenery, well that just takes your breath away. In parts it really is quite magical. Last but not least, Sreekumar, our host, very friendly and accommodating, totally up front. Musn't forget to mention, how relaxing it all was. In between doing nothing, z's were stacked. Highly recommended.

A simply amazing and relaxing few days - What a wonderful experience the houseboat stay was. We took the two night option so that we were able to fully relax - and we were not disappointed. The food was fantastic (they did us a gorgeous vegetarian menu with plenty of different dishes over the 3 days - the cardamom/ pineapple juice at breakfast was particularly delicious!) and the boat was immaculately kept. The driver and the chef were both friendly and looked after us very well. Watching the amazing array of birds, whilst drifting gently along one of the most beautiful vistas you could imagine.. honestly, I think it's one of the best things we've ever done. Wholly recommended.

Magnificient Houseboat Tour in Alleppey Backwaters - Our trip on the Maniyara Luxury Houseboat in the Alleppey backwaters was an experience of a lifetime. The sights were stunning, particularly the magnificent sunset around Lotus Pond. We were well hosted while taking in the serene splendor of nature. Throughout the trip, Chef Nitin looked after us and served us deliciously made Kerala meals. The boat itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.
We would especially like to thank Sree, the owner, whose customer service went above and beyond. Anyone wishing to enjoy Alleppey's charm in quiet and style should definitely reserve this houseboat tour.

Unforgettable Alleppey Trip with Excellent Tour Arrangements - Our Alleppey houseboat experience was truly beyond expectations! The tour planner from Srees Tours Mr.SreeKumar has made perfect arrangements, and the service on board was very friendly. The boat was luxurious and ideal for a comfortable family stay. Also enjoyed delicious Kerala-style spicy fish prepared just the way we liked. An wonderful and memorable experience overall!

Above and beyond service in beautiful surroundings - Thank you, Sree and crew, for a lovely houseboat stay!
Sree took us on a backwater cruise, during which he took very good photos of us. The houseboat facilities were nice, and quite roomy for 4 adult travelers. There is a covered lounging area downstairs and an upper deck, good for enjoying the sun. All the food is authentic Kerala cuisine and is cooked fresh on board! It was delicious.
The crew helped with every request: from shifting the sleeping arrangements slightly, to helping us purchase fish at a local market, and giving us a fishing rod with bait.
Would recommend for anyone!

Best Kerela tour - Fantastic experience. The waters were very calm and peaceful. The staff on the boat were amazing! They prepared such great authentic and traditional Kerela dishes we really felt welcomed. Worth the upgrade

A relaxing trip on Kerala back waters with a personal chef - The staff was very friendly, and the chef was excellent. The nature on route is gorgeous. There aren't many off-boat activities, so be prepared to be still and enjoy the backcountry.

Good staff, but not the luxury experience expected - We recently stayed on this houseboat in Alleppey. The staff was very polite and helpful, and we appreciate their efforts during our stay.
However, the overall condition of the boat did not match the “luxury” experience that was advertised. The photos provided look good, but there are certain things that cannot really be understood from pictures alone. Some areas felt dusty and rusty, there were signs of seepage, a few lights were broken, foam on the upper deck seating was torn, and the AC was dripping water. The bathtub was also not working. And smell in the toilet was horrible.
I am generally not someone who complains easily, but the difference between the expectation and reality was quite noticeable. With better maintenance, this could be a much better experience.
