Most unique experience during our Alaska trip! - This was amazing! Have always wanted to ride in a hovercraft, never had before this. I was going specifically for that experience, but we had our whole family along (5 of us) and I wasn't sure if everyone else was as excited as I was. Turned out they enjoyed it just as much as I did! In addition to just the awesomeness of the hovercraft, the tour was beautiful, seeing areas we wouldn't have otherwise seen, and some good wildlife sightings. The host (Pilot? Captain?) was excellent, really seems to enjoy what he does and pointed out and explained things to us. Note that the vessel engines have to be on continuously, and it's not quiet! For those with sensitive ears I would suggest some ear plugs or other hearing protection. None of us wore any, and we were all fine, but something to consider. Highly, highly recommend doing this if you get the chance!

Great experience - A fun and exciting ride. You can tell that Jered, the owner and captain loves his work. Both Jared and his first mate went over and beyond. This hovercraft can go places that others can't. If travels over rapids and lands with ease. We had the opportunity to see bald eagles and found moose and bear tracks.

- Jared was very knowledgeable and friendly. He took us to interesting places and explained how the area was and continues to be transformed due to glaciers, storms and water. Jared appeared to be an expert pilot of the Hovercraft. We all felt relaxed and safe with him at the controls and enjoyed this new experience. My husband, nephew and I had a great time.

10/10 – Highly Recommend! - We had an absolutely amazing time with Jared and his team at Hover Craft Scenic Tour in Talkeetna, Alaska! Jared is incredibly knowledgeable about the glaciers, rivers, and wildlife in the area—he made the whole experience not just fun, but also fascinating. The hovercraft ride was smooth and exciting, and we felt completely safe and comfortable the entire time. It’s a unique way to explore the Alaskan wilderness, and we’d do it again in a heartbeat. Don’t miss this adventure if you’re in Talkeetna!

Great tour and fun Hovercraft - Really fun tour. Hovercrafts are cool. It funny when you wizz by other tour boats they all take a picture of you and your hovercraft. This tour is good option if you don't want a all day commitment, it's about 1.5 hrs. Captain Jerrid and crew are super knowledgeable about the area and know the good spots to try and see some wildlife. I highly recommend

Incredible time for the whole family - We went out on the water for a tour with our teens and 80 year old parents and had an amazing time. Jarod was an incredible guide making the tour fun, informative and engaging. He shared a lot of useful information about the area and its history and gladly answered all our questions. He let the kids pan gold at one of the stops and pointed out moose and bear tracks. And, he helpfully provided rides to/from the town to the boat launch (which was a huge help with our parents) and made sure we were on time to catch the shuttle back to our hotel. If you are looking for a fun way to explore and learn more about the area, this is a must do activity and is great for all ages.

Great time had by all! - This was a great alternative to a standard boat tour. Jerrid is able to take the hovercraft places that most boats can’t go. We saw eagles, eagle nests, and moose and bear tracks. Jarrid is a great narrator with tons of knowledge about geology and history of the area! Highly recommend!
