The hikes were beautiful and Justin was awesome! - Justin was excellent. We had a small group and every question was answered expertly, plus some, with great fun facts! We even got to see in real life only an hour after learning, and on a completely different trail, how a red squirrel carries up and places a mushroom on a branch to let it dry out! It happened less than 20 feet away from us! The trails he chose were perfect and he took care to make sure they were safe for us especially after the bad storms they had recently. If we returned, we'd be happy if he was available again!

Great Hike - We enjoyed our hikes led by Josie who was informative and had lots to share about the area in which we hiked. It was more like a private tour as my husband and I were the only members in the “group”. Josie tailored it to my needs as I’m not the fastest of hikers. Definitely would recommend this tour! Thanks Josie!

Beautiful hike in Denali! - We booked a private hike with New Wave Rafting. Our guide Justin was amazing. He found a hike that fit our situation well, was challenging and off the beaten path enough that we would not have attempted it on our own, but not too difficult. We hiked the Triple Lakes Trail, which was beautiful. Justin educated us about the geology, flora and fauna we saw along the way. We saw a good mix of wildlife and sampled a variety of wild berries. He also had a wealth of suggestions for things to do in the area. Overall, it was a highlight of our Denali vacation!

Poor organization - Poorly organized. The walk was scheduled for 6.45pm. The guide came exactly at 5.45 and then was hunting for the walkers. We then were taken to the main office while the guide went looking for another walker . Supposed to be a 3 hour walk but then were informed that likely will be much shorter. We requested our money back and told to contact Holland America. We decided to quit.

Canceled with no notice. - I can't rate the hike experience because when I called a hour before to confirm the hotel pickup I was told was the only person scheduled so the hike was canceled. I had an email earlier in the day to sign a waiver, but no email, call or text to let me know it was canceled. It was too late to schedule with another company. Very poor customer service.
