• Ermita de la Victoria - This marks both the beginning and end of this circular trail. At the conclusion of the hike, visitors can explore The Hermitage La Victoria. This sanctuary is a fortified hermitage from the 18th century, featuring a defensive architectural style that sets it apart from other monasteries in Mallorca. Presently, the monastic complex consists of three levels: the ground floor, which houses the hermitage, and two upper floors that now serve as a guest house.
• Alcudia - The hike takes place on the Alcudia Peninsula. Starting from the parking area, the route descends along a steep path to the Torrent de s’Aladernar Gorge. After 300 meters, a signpost directs to the right towards La Victoria Youth Hostel. However, the path continues left along a track following Torrent de ses Fontanelles, which gently ascends, passes Ses Fontanelles Fondes, and eventually reaches Coll de na Benet. Here, signposts guide towards Coll Baix and Sa Talaia. The route to Sa Talaia is followed, with the hike taking approximately 3 hours.
• Talaia d’Alcúdia - The highest point on this route is the Sa Talaia d’Alcúdia Peak. “Sa Talaia” translates to watchtower, aptly named for its purpose. At 446 meters above sea level, the circular base of an old 16th-century tower remains, along with two huts where soldiers sought refuge during the Civil War. This watchtower monitored the bay area not visible from Sa Penya Roja. Exposed to storms and lightning, it was already in disrepair when the military dismantled it in 1918.

“Sa Talaia” means watchtower, and the summit’s name has its reason. At 446m above sea level remains the circular base of an old 16th-century tower and, a little further down, two huts where the soldiers took refuge during the Civil War. It was a watchtower that controlled the part of the bay that was not visible from Sa Penya Roja. Very exposed to storms and especially lightning, it was already in poor conditions when the military demolished it in 1918.
