A fun time in the mountains. - Catalina and Fernando were wonderful on the tour. They make an amazing team and are so personable. They make everyone smile and feel like a part of the family. Don’t miss being part of this wonderful tour. You will enjoy it immensely.

Fabulous Little Town in the Mountains - While in Majorca we took a tour that would take us to the small town of Valldemosa. Oh my goodness, what a beautiful little place. Cobblestone roads, great shops and lots of restaurants. Beautiful villas scattered throughout the hills. Apparently there are a few famous people that own homes here or just love to vacation here. Apparently Michael Douglas and his wife have a home and visit for a few months every year. It is a lovely area.

An absolute must - Can someone explain why this outfit are called NoFrills? The couch was new, extremely comfortable, very well driven and the tour Guide, Melanie was friendly, engaging and fluent in at least 3 languages. Our trip was a full day and really showed the different sides of Mallorca. The stops at Valldemosa and then Soller and Port De Soller were well spaced apart so you never felt that you were on the bus for too long. Melanie gave a relevant and interesting commentary on the passing landscape while never making you feel that you wanted her to be quiet.
The time allocated for free time at each stop was more than enough to explore and enjoy some refreshments and not feel rushed.
There is a fair amount of walking involved and if you get travel sick, the windy route through the mountains may warrant a travel sickness med, or use of one of the provided and offered bags, but when you reach Soller any discomfort is worth it.
The trip includes priority and pre booked travel on the tram from Soller to Port De Soller (a journey of about 15 mins) which is worth going on the tour in its own right as the summer crowds would be overwhelming.
Port De Soller is simply stunning and a must see on a trip to Mallorca, and this trip is a great way to do it. The coach collects you from Port De Soller and the return journey is through a tunnel and much quicker than the mountain pass. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this trip (although young children may find it a tad boring) , it was good value, well paced and well staffed. Thank you Melanie and team.

Great Tour Along the Bendy Bendy Roads! - We booked this tour at short notice and so glad we did.
Pick up was just a few minutes walk from our hotel in Puerto Pollenca and we were warmly welcomed aboard by our guide Catalina and driver Emilio.
You could tell from the start that Catalina was going to be a good guide with her entertaining and witty commentary along the way…….the words describing mountain roads as being “bendy, bendy” and to ensure a bathroom break is taken prior to getting on the tram to Port de Soller as the tram is “bumpy, bumpy” will stick in the memory for a long time!!🤣
As to the tour itself. It’s well paced, incredibly scenic and at €44 was good value for money.
The only downside for us was that as always Soller was incredibly busy and found it hard find somewhere to eat in term of just wanting a snack rather than a full meal plus still have time to explore Soller town. Luckily we had brought a few snacks with us so had these instead…….not a criticism of the tour, it was just a combination of how busy Soller can get and us probably being a bit fussy…..
Would we use No Frills Excursions again? It’s a big definite yes from us 😊👍

Lovely! - Arranged pick up from a location very close to our hotel via Tripadvisor, collected on time.
Lots of travel on the bus, the bus was new and very clean/comfortable. Melanie our guide was very knowledgeable and made sure that any information was passed out in all languages.
Stopped off in various picturesque Spanish towns with lots of free time available to explore.
The tram in Sóller was great, would definitely recommend it was a great day out and good value for money.

A great day out... - From start to finish we had a great day out with our wonderful guide Catalinà and driver Huraldo, Catalinà is a very knowledgeable guide who has a wonderful sense of humour. The trip took us into the mountains along a road with switchbacks through picturesque scenery, all perfectly navigated by our driver Huraldo,We arrived in Valdemossa where we had free time to have lunch and admire the beautiful scenery,or visit the various attractions,we then travelled onto Soller where we enjoyed a coffee in the beautiful square in front of the cathedral before taking the train down to Puerto Soller ,where we had more free time to enjoy the scenery before rejoining our coach for the journey back to our hotels, extremely good value for money, superb scenery and probably the best guide and driver we could have hoped for,I would definitely do this tour again if we come back to Alcudia.Welldone no frills and thanks for a great day.👍

No Brainer! Super trip at the top price! - A really great guided tour of two beautiful cities! This at a really good price. In both cities you have enough time, but should not dawdle too badly.

Exactly what you need for a day trip - We chose this company as they were offering the same excursions cheaper that what Jet2 were offering. Catalina was funny, kind and charismatic, exactly the type of person you want looking after you on your excursion. She was very informative and the day didn't feel rushed.
And added bonus was that we were picked up right outside our hotel, we didn't need to travel anywhere else to meet.

Palma, great city break - We stayed in Palma City for 7 days, at Hotel Continental. The hotel was excellent and close to restaurants and local sites. I would recommend The Cathedral to visit. It looks especially spectacular when lit up at night. The people were very friendly and welcoming. Bellver Castle offers excellent views across the bay. I would recommend getting a taxi up to Castle, for about €10, and walking down the 472 steps back to Palma. De Born boulevard is very vibrant for shopping, or just people watching in the shade of the trees. Restaurants cost €60 to €65 for 2 courses and drinks. Restaurante Tinto was our favourite! The train/ tram trip to Soller and Puerto Soller, is well worth it for the scenery through the mountains.
