Great and well organized tour of Old Town Alexandria - From the moment we booked the tour we were in good hands. We knew where to meet, who our guide was, and even had her contact information in case we had questions. Our guide Eileen was exceptional. She had great energy and greeted everyone with a smile. You could immediately tell we were going to have a great time. She had so much information to share at each stop. I live in the surrounding area and learned so many new things. The route was easy and well planned. I would definitely do anther tour with this company.

As above - She was very excellent, Eileen Grant. She was very knowledgeable and funny with different stories and facts. I went as a Girls Weekend with my daughter, 42 and granddaughter, 9 y. o. All enjoyed. Great beautiful Spring day and fabulous tour. Thank you, Eileen!

Excellent Tour of Old Town Alexandria - My wife and I recently enjoyed a 1.5 hour walking tour of Old Town Alexandria with Wayne Kehoe. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend this tour.
We lived in Virginia several decades ago and were quite familiar with the basics of Alexandria history, but we decided to take a walking tour on a recent visit. It was fantastic and I'm really glad we did this tour with Wayne. Wayne is a very friendly and knowledgeable guide - he knows his history very well and led us on a very interesting and fact-filled tour. He does other tours as well - he is a professional guide and next time I'm in the area, I'm going to sign up for another one of his tours, like a pub tour.

Tim is amazing guide - Amazing experience! Tim’s historical knowledge of Alexandria made this tour extra educational and enjoyable! Highly recommend….even in the rain and snow, making it even more memorable!

Great George Washington tour! - Tim Rose is a great tour guide, who is very knowledgeable about his subjects. I went on the George Washington tour on a very chilly day. in mid-March 2026. Tim made it interesting not just about Washington, but the City of Alexandria and people who supported Washington. Thank you Tim!

Excellent history tour - The walking tour was great. Tim really knew his stuff (geography, commerce, architecture, people, etc.), and was very pleasant to talk to. It was cold the day we went, and he was still happy to be giving the tour, and offered to make accommodations in case the cold was a problem for us.

Stellar Historic Tour & Guide - Tim is an excellent docent: knowledgeable and obviously passionate and enthusiastic about that knowledge and the rich history of Alexandria and our Founding Fathers. He gave us so much insight and many fun facts backed up with visuals and “front row” experiences. He impressed me especially with his ability to answer questions this long-time history lover and resident asked. I was also impressed that his company offered tours when most others do not during the winter, off-peak season. HIGHLY recommend visitors put this on their to-do list!

5 Stars - Excellent Tour. - We truly enjoyed the walking tour of Alexandria. It was cold but Tim kept us moving without rushing. He pointed out historic homes and told stories that made the 90 minutes fly by. Between the cobblestone streets, colonial era charm and immense history, we fell in love with Old Town Alexandria. Even our 13 year old thought it was "cool". We highly recommend the Guided Walking Tour of Old Town Alexandria.

Outstanding Tour Experience - This tour of Old Town, Alexandria is outstanding. Not only are you provided with the ultra-rich history of the area, but our tour guide, Wayne Kehoe, provided us with a wealth of anecdotes, that helped to explain many colloquialisms that we use in our modern language. He made our tour both interesting and fun. We highly recommend this company and this tour.
