- Passeig Esplanada d’Espanya - The initial seafront was constructed using debris from the demolition of the historic walls and was originally named “El Malecón”. The present esplanade was built in the 1960s. The mosaic comprises 6,600,000 pieces in three colors, including “Alicante red”, a marble color unique to this region.
- Placa Gabriel Miro - Formerly known as “Correos”, this square reflects the bourgeois city and the urban aesthetic ideals of the new dominant class.

- Teatro Principal de Alicante - This theatre was constructed in the mid-19th Century.
- Mercat Central d’Alacant - Built at the start of the 20th Century, it was later bombed during the civil war, necessitating reconstruction of some parts.
