Mesmerising - The historic tour in Alicante was an amazing experience. The tour guide Fran was very professional and friendly. Views were incredible, and it was a great explanation about some historic events. Totally recommended.

A great morning - Great tour, quick stops at the market and castle but you can always go back yourself. Isaac was a great tour guide with lots of historic information. We were sent recommendations after the tour and we ticked off 3 that afternoon and evening, including the tapas, flamenco and churros 😊

Great short tour of Alicante - A great experience with Isaac who told us lots of information about Alicante and its history! We loved every part of it and visited places we have never been to before. The tapas and drinks were an added bonus!

Highly recommend! - The perfect way to discover Alicante's history, gastronomy and scenery. We loved it! A friendly and informative tour guide. We enjoyed the shared drinks and tapas with the other tourists at the end. Wear trainers, as the marble in places is slippy.

Must do historical tour of Alicante - What a fantastic tour! We started at the beautiful Central Market, hearing about some of the areas history and wandering through the market. We then ventured further afield (by bus) to see the stunning views from the Santa Barbara Castle. We finished up wandering the gorgeous narrow streets of Alicante hearing more of the areas history and finally settling down to a lovely cold beverage and some tasty tapas. Our guide Nadia was absolutely fantastic. She has a deep knowledge of both Alicante and Spanish history. Nadia made the tour so much fun for our group with her lovely personality and fabulous sense of humour. This is the second tour we have booked through the tour operator Alicante Tasting Club (because the first one was so good). We have just booked and paid for our third tour! Highly recommended!

Interesting parts of Alicante - The tour was quite interesting. We loved the market, which was amazing, and enjoyed the views from the castle (fortress). The walk through the other parts of Alicante were an eye opener. The tapas tasting was very disappointing.

Nice views but lots of steps downhill - The tour did not mention anything about the amount of walking from the top of the fort to the city center and the amount of steps involved. Two members of our party had a tough time. The tour should have been more descriptive of the activities rather than just 'city tour, wine tasting and tapas.' The fort was nice but was never listed as a stop. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Few days in Alacañte! - Our guide was well versed and we enjoyed her explanations during the tour. Few things to consider, this is about 85% historic tour with a good amount of walking and steps and it ends with 1 tapa and 1 glass of wine/beer. If you are looking for a tapas tour, don’t take this one. If you want a historic tour with a drink at the end. Enjoy!

This tour was a bit... - This tour was a bit misleading. It’s definitely NOT “a wander” - it’s a significant amount of walking, thankfully all downhill, but quite steep and a bit slippery at times. Also not much shade so it’s bit uncomfortable. The “nibbles” you get in the market are minimal. The tapas at the end is one small item and a drink. I enjoyed seeing the Santa Cruz neighborhood, but do wish i knew what i had signed up for! I might have dressed or prepared differently for example!

Good overview, Lots of stairs - This was a very good overview of a number of areas of Alicante. Be aware that this is an extremely strenuous City walk. Particularly because of stairs, mostly going down but there were many many many stairs as you follow the route with the tour guide.
